It hadn't been an entirely good day for Ophelia. Though her classes were going alright, she'd been feeling a little bit down in a rut about not having seen her sister or brother all that frequently of late. Each year that passed they had seemed to be growing older, more independent and sadly more distant. It wasn't something Ophelia liked one little bit and after quick consideration, she had decided it was time to do something about it. After all, just because they were twins and not entirely alike didn't mean they still couldn't be, well, twins! Or friends! For that matter.
So Ophelia had gone out of her way to write a message to Olivia and openly explained her concerns. She was generally always very open with her feelings but sometimes they weren't necessarily received the best. After all, some people didn't enjoy conflict or facing down issues. They were simply content to let matters lie and work out on their own. As a Hufflepuff, she supposed she really rather didn't like conflict either but to be honest, was at the point where she felt if she didn't do something her sister would stop talking to her all together.
Even if she had, the one time, started that little rumor about Olivia out of anger. Olivia never had found out who'd started it but even angry Ophelia would never want to lose her sister completely.
So, as she sat waiting for her sister to join her, Ophelia crossed her fingers...and her toes, hoping that she wouldn't be stood up and started to slowly pick at her lunch. It wasn't entirely luxurious, just some soup and stew from the kitchens that she had had a hand in spicing herself. Quite pleased with the outcome she hadn't been able to do anything but take a bowl for herself to enjoy. After all, if you couldn't enjoy your delicious creations why bother making them?
Around her, the world passed by and Ophelia slowly blew and stirred at her soup to cool it down. Not wanting to burn her tongue, she couldn't help but notice as the slew of students passed by her and gave her a few odd looks. She suspected she knew what it was and she half wanted to roll her eyes at them. Ever since Ophelia had started at Hogwart's she'd been nearly nigh inseperable from a group of Hufflepuff students that had come to be known as the Huffle Honey's. Sometimes the name was used affectionately and other times, well, it was used to make fun of them. Either way, the group of girls she normally sat with were no where to be found - so certainly some of the students might have been taken aback by the oddity of a lone, singular Ophelia...
