Photoshop Help, spiral patterns

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Member No.: 22 Joined: 20-May 06	I have photoshop 7. I'm kind of confused on how to use it especially the layers thingy...I've played around with it and figured out how to put transparent words on a picture but how do you get the spiral and words pattern in these banners? I've looked for tutorials but didn't find any. If anyone could help me out I'd be very greatful! Thanks!
