WFC(Wi-Fi conection) thread

Here you can post your Friend codes for your DS games you can do Wi-Fi with. Make sure the other person knows if you are making them your friend.

I'll start:

I don't even understand how to do Wi-Fi...

In order to access to Wi-Fi, you first must have a Nintendo DS, Nintendo DS Lite, or a Nintendo Wii. Next, you need access to a router in your home or someplace else such as a Wi-Fi Hot Spot; I have a router as it is fairly easy to use.

Next, go to:
http://www.nintendowifi.com/gaminghub/Gamehub.jsp

Going to that website will then provide you with all of the information on how to set up Wi-Fi.

Next, you will need to buy a videogame for one of the 3 consoles/systems mentioned above. A small blue sticker will appear on each of the games packaging indicating that Wi-Fi can be used on the game.

Once you have established a connection with your console, game, and router/hot spot, you are ready to play Wi-Fi. And the best part about it is--it's free!

Basically what dragetre said. Except you NEED windows xp. I have it now, but when I first got my wi-fi, I didn't, and it didn't work.

You only need Windows XP if you're using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connector.

Directed at Yami Ookami: I know you have a Wii, so I was wondering if you set up the Internet Channel on it. If you did, can you tell me how long it took you because whenever I try to download it off of the Shop Channel, it takes about 20 minutes to get halfway and then it says "Error Code! Unable to download item (or whatever)" so I can't seem to download it.

EDIT: The reason why I'm asking this hear is because it relates to Wi-Fi and well...it's our only Wi-Fi thread.

What internet connection do you have? I have dial up so mine didn't work fast enough. I gave up after an hour.

I have High-Speed...And I still can't download it.

Wait a minute, what do you mean by a router. I'm confused and I want to do well in the Elemental League from Serebii.

Only took me about 10 minutes to download the Internet Channel. I suggest you bring it closer to the internet source just to download it, then put it back. If you get the same problem, then who knows?

Hm...I should try that. I still haven't downloaded it; but I think I'll go do it now.

You should play my math teacher. He is obsessed with Mario Kart.

I'm getting my copy of Diamond on the 22nd. So is Yoshinichi. I have Wi-Fi and Yoshinichi has it when he goes to other people's houses.
