Characters:
Otto Hetzer, Adelaide Grenada, Riina Fel

General Plan: The Jedi Council has given Otto and Adelaide orders to infiltrate Imperial Space and to look into the current affairs of the Imperial Sector. Meanwhile Riina Fel will learn of this Jedi infiltration and will try to stop/apprehend/kill the intruders.


Specifics:

*Otto and Adelaide 'somehow' infiltrate Imperial Space and arrive on Bastion.

*On Bastion they snoop around and gather intelligence on the Imperials.

*Imperial Intelligence agents learn of the intruders and try to deal with them.

*This leads to one or more confrontations.

*Eventually Otto and Adelaide escape and return to the Jedi Council to report their findings.

A lot of this is general ideas. I'm open to any specifics. I figure Otto and Adelaide will explore Bastion for a few posts then will attempt to go after more secure information. This might involve breaking into a building or impersonating Imperial officials. At one or more points they'll end up encountering Imperial Intelligence agents and will have to deal with them. The climax will probably be a duel/chase with Riina Fel. Thread will end with their escape unless we come up with better ideas.

Feel free to offer any ideas or changes. I'm just brainstorming.

I'll put in my two cents over the weekend. I'm utterly swamped right now.

First of all, the important stuff.

Who's Black Spy, and who's White Spy?

Well the Jedi are obviously White Spy (Lightside) and the Imperials are fond of their black uniforms thus I'd say you are Black Spy.

Couple things that I see.

First, how many posts do you see Otto needing to finish up Manifesto? I think that I can accomplish everything I need Adelaide to do in one. She'll get the mission, pack her stuff, and head for the spaceport. Which brings me to my next point.

How do you want to get there? We both have ships; do you want to double up in one or go separately. I'm in favor of the former; it seems more professional to go in one ship, plus it makes sense logistically. If we go separately, I have an interesting idea; where we land on Bastion separately and meet up there.

I can finish up in one post probably.

As for how we get there, it might be a good idea to split up. If the Imperials were to learn that two Jedi were arriving, they'd be looking for two of us together and not each of us separately, so that would make tactical sense. However I wouldn't recommend you using your gunship

I think I'll have Otto using civilian transport and some acquired documents allowing him entry into Imperial Space. I'm not sure how much of a lock down they have on travel there.

But we could travel together (safety in numbers) and simply use civilian transport to book passage to Bastion. We could pose as Imperial citizens who were on vacation on Coruscant. We'd have to evade any scanners looking for our lightsabers, or any facial recognition systems which would try to match us to known Jedi. I'm thinking it's not so much a matter of Jedi aren't allowed in Imperial Space so much as we want to go there without the extra attention or alerting Imperial agencies.

Good point, haha. I was so excited about pulling out the Godspeed that I forgot to be stealthy.

Yeah, we should probably go separately. We could be on the same ship and remain in proximity to each other for the duration of the mission, but keep apart for tactical reasons.

All right, now that we've got a plan going I'll post in Manifesto pretty soon. By the end of Monday I should have a post there.

Iurus, any ideas for your part (as Riina)?

I don't really have any input- seems like a pretty decent idea, but I don't really have any plans to add to it.

Will you be okay with us escaping with any valuable info? Will you need something in return in order to prevent this from looking like a failure on your part?

I don't want this event to ruin your career as an Imperial agent. Not sure how much if any blame might fall on you for this. Guess it could fall on your superior and perhaps provide a chance for your promotion.

I have an idea.

Perhaps you find something Riina wishes to know... and she snags the info from you. Wonder what that could be, though...

Maybe this is how you learn that the Empire is going to meet with the Mandalorians. Perhaps even that the Emperor himself has a vested interest in gaining them as allies. Of course that carries its own devious overtones.

Is there a significance to Otto not immediately noticing Adelaide? If there's a purpose, I'd be happy to go along with it; I just need to know what it is.

Not really. For one, I wasn't sure if you're there all ready or if I was suppose to be there first and that's why you went there. This way covers either option so I didn't make a mistake
