That vibrate. Kind of like a climbing pick) with a short shoto blade (green) at the end of each shaft.

Biography: Adelaide Grenada hails from an illustrious line of adventurers. In most major galactic conflicts stretching all the way back to the Battle of Yavin nearly 600 years ago, there has always been a Grenada in the thick of it. It is really only now, however, that a scion of the line has taken a more prominent role in the affairs of the galaxy.

Adelaide was born to Odin and Danica Grenada on Naboo in 576 ABY. Her parents' prosperity, the shelter of Naboo and the prevailing peace in the galaxy at that time enabled her to grow up unscathed by most rigors. A precocious child, she was able to take full advantage of Naboo's outstanding educational system, and upon her graduation from the mandatory schooling system, she enrolled in Naboo's naval academy. Although a skilled pilot, warfare was not for her, and one year after she had entered the academy, she was found to be Force-sensitive. In the darkest hour of the Galactic Alliance, Adelaide bid farewell to her family and departed for the Jedi Academy on Kashyyyk. Before she left, her family gave her a old blaster, which had been passed down through the generations, to bring with her as an heirloom and utility. Nobody knew where it had come from except that it had been passed down from an ancestor and was still surprisingly effective in modern combat due to its modular nature.

With the Jedi deadlocked over whether to commit the Jedi to war against the Mandalorians, Adelaide was forced to forge her own path within the Order, since most of her instructors were preoccupied with the situation when it came time to teach. Her strong willpower and quest for achievement, however, enabled her to derive an excellent education from the Jedi. When it came time to build her lightsaber, her interest in alternative weaponry drove her to construct a "lightspear" with a trident head. And her military background and authoritative nature drove her to learn offensive Force techniques, such as Electric Judgement and powerful telekinetic techniques.

As the Jedi grew increasingly involved in the GA-Mandalorian War, Adelaide was a strong advocate of Jedi involvement, feeling that it was a Jedi's inherent duty to defend the galaxy, and discovering a powerful rhetorical talent as she spoke out. When Ahdar Grae finally decided to commit the Jedi to the war, Adelaide was among those deemed ready to fight.

Though shocked at Sarhk Crevas' battlefield demands that the Mandalorians be executed, Adelaide applauded Kas Haan's integrity during the situation and supported his bid for Chief of State, a bid which proved successful. After the war was over, Adelaide was assigned to Coruscant as one of several Jedi representatives to Coruscant and continues to support Chief of State Haan and Grand Master Grae as tensions continue to mount.

Likes: Smooth, efficient government, beating somebody down with the power of her words, peach smoothies, nights on the town.

Dislikes: Uninformed dissenters, genocide, cold showers, mud

Strengths: Inquisitive and intelligent, able to grasp situations quickly and formulate an immediate response, strong in the Force, decent with her lightspear

Weaknesses: Perhaps a little too cavalier, has a temper, tends to be single-minded in her opinions

Fears: More war. As a sheltered child, conflict is alien to her and so far, she hates it.

Any way you could explain this more? Do you mean trident like "Little Mermiad" trident?

Hmmm...at this point, a "blue" turbolaser has been developed that is more powerful but it's power isn't a result of it's blueness. I haven't even looked into laser frequencies so I'm not really sure.... Can you come up with another reason it's useful?

What is EJ and what sort of techniques?

Zinnos will have to be the final decision but I don't forsee a problem with that at all.


Other than that, your bio looks great.

I see nothing wrong with some Jedi on Coruscant. In fact, that improves my plans.

*sigh* This is one of the things I was going to get to, but never had time; I was going to update Agathon's bio with a paragraph or two on why his weaponry is exceptional. Basically, since higher frequencies of visible light carry more energy, it stands to reason that blue or violet light would pack a more powerful punch than the standard red or green of blasters and turbolasers. That's why Cressya fire is powerful; the light is modulated at a higher frequency to generate more...oh, what's the scientific term I'm looking for...oomph? So yeah, that's how I'd envisioned it, anyway.

Electric Judgement is basically good-guy Force Lightning, lightning with no hate or malice in mind. It was first pioneered by Plo Koon, and it's on Wookieepedia if you want to read further. And telekinesis...just the basics; Force Waves and the like.

Cool beans. And @Ariel...I was trying to think of a name, and was reading some news, and that name popped up. And I though "Groovy!" and typed it out.

The science makes perfect sense (at least as much as SW science makes sense )

As for the weapon, feel free to say that it uses technology that gives it more...oh how'd you put it? Ooomph. But I'd say take out the talk about the higher frequency.
