Alex Skywalker stood with arms crossed in front of his chest as Master Kol Keshyr finished up his final inspection. Keshyr was taking his time (understandably so), but finally he nodded an affirmative in Alex's direction. Alex turned and smiled at Sehti Asgard. They were standing in what were supposedly her quarters, but had now been turned into the Temple's gate room.
"You're good to go."
"N-n-now?" She said, and though Sehti was good at holding her emotions in check, her voice had already betrayed her.
Well, Alex could certainly empathize with that. The gate was definitely an imposing structure and not even Jedi masters were immune to a bit of trepidation.
"No time like the present." He replied.
"Actually, you'll have to wait for a minute." Kol held up a hand, waving them back. "There's a message coming through; text only."
"Messages?" Sehti mumbled and Alex casually looked away.
"Did I forget to mention that?" He commented.
"You'd better read this." Kol interrupted waving them over to the console screen. "Both of you."
Sehti and Alex complied, and after a moment's reading looked at each other.
"Now I think it's imperative you come to Reesh." Alex said and when Sehti nodded her agreement he added, "Activate the gate, Master Keshyr."
