Personality: Raza can be a faithful friend, or a horrifying enemy. His loyalty to his nest and his fellow Jedi is without question. However, his Barabel nature and prowess in combat make him a terribly dangerous foe. Like most Barabels, he has a strange sense of humor. He also has a tendency to collect things.

Biography:

Raza was born on Kashyyyk. He had many siblings and both his parents were Jedi, all of them descendants of the great Jedi Master Saba Sebatyne. As a young hatchling, he was cared for by his mother and traveled with her on many missions. He learned the ways of the Jedi at an early age.

Eventually Raza trained at the Jedi Academy on Kashyyyk, where he showed great prowess in combat, though more so with his hands, feet, and tail than with a lightsaber. His training excelled to the point that he served as an assistant hand-to-hand combat instructor at the academy.

Before the Mandalorian War, Raza served as an apprentice to Jedi Master Sohk, a Muun Jedi Consular. Their missions took them to many planets, often in times of war, to settle various disputes. Raza learned much in the way of seeing things from different perspectives. Master Sohk taught Raza the finer points of patience and observation. Several years before the war broke out, Master Sohk recommended to the Jedi Council to promote Raza to the rank of Jedi Knight.

Jedi Knight Raza Sebatyne then took a brief leave from the Jedi in order to start his own nest. He and a fellow Jedi, Tula Raine, went off into the thick canopies of Kashyyyk where they tended their first brood, a respectable eight hatchlings. Two more broods were to follow with a grand total of eighteen hatchlings in all. As in traditional Barabel fashion, his hatchlings became a part of the Sebatyne clan and fellow hatchmates helped tend to their raising. Raza and Tula returned to the Order and began training their hatchlings in the ways of the Jedi. There they learned at the academy and from the various Jedi Masters and Knights.

During the Mandalorian War, Raza fought alongside his fellow Jedi against the Mandalorians. Though not all of the war was spent in battles. Often their were dangerous supply or rescue missions. Sometimes Raza fought with his hatchlings at his side, other times he served with special Jedi teams in important missions. Yet his most cherished moments were toward the end of the war, when he was again teamed up with his old Master, Sohk, and they worked behind the lines to undermine the captured Mandalorian worlds.

After the war, Raza took time to train his hatchlings, often picking three or four at a time, and taking them with him on special missions. With turmoil stirring in the galaxy once again, Raza has become wary of the Galactic Alliance and some of the senior Jedi Masters and their pro-GA stances. There has also been talk of his being promoted to Jedi Master.
