Possible "What If" thread idea...

Title: The Ewok Horde
Participants:
Summary: The Ewoks have expanded away from Endor and our now conquering other worlds in an unbridled expansion that can only be stopped by the Galactic Alliance.
Details: First off, read this. Now, the idea is that each character, regardless of their 'in-universe' personas and affiliations, will take on a new role as either a member of the Galactic Alliance trying to stop the Ewoks, or will assume the role of an Ewok. Keep in mind these are vicious, cannibalistic beings guided by their twisted Shamans on a brutal warpath. They consume their enemies with lustful abandon and worship heathen gods and spirits.

Ewok Roles: Shaman, warrior, and boru warru (blood-anointed warlord)
Galactic Alliance Roles: Commander, soldier, pilot

Alright, I might have mentioned this idea before, but I'm not ready to give up on it yet. So I'm going to spice it up in hopes of garnering some support.

Title: The Ewok Horde

Summary: Completely in line with the main RP story, but with a spin. Saul the Hutt, fresh after conquering The Periphery, heads to Endor with a special task force. There he persuades the local inhabitants, the Ewoks (who have since forth advanced some in the ways of technology), that they should possess a mystic artifact that will give greatness to their tribes: THE PURPLE SPHERE OF AWESOMENESS! (second only to The Feather which grants ULTIMATE POWER)

However, Saul tells the Ewoks that the Jedi are the ones who possess the sphere. So the Ewoks agree to help him with his crusade to attack the Jedi and take back the Sphere of Purple Awesomeness.

How does this fit in? Well instead of the GA Fleet attacking the Jedi Temple, it's the Hutt/Ewok fleet. The Hutts attack from space while veteran Ewok warriors and commandos storm the temple.

Details: Simple: Hutts attack with a preliminary bombardment from space. Ewok ground troops assault the Jedi Temple. And these are fanatic, frenzied Ewoks led by their mad shamans to retake the sphere. Jedi will have to fend off the Ewok hordes then take the battle to space in order to stop the Hutt Fleet.

Wait, I think I've seen this movie. The Purple Sphere of Awesome is the exact opposite of the Eye of Mordor from Lord of the Rings. Once, a long time ago, the two "eyes" were part of the great being of the Universe. Then, mankind rose up and cut the all-mighty being in two and cast it's eyes into separate realities, so that they might never again combine.

Oh, and the Feather of ULTIMATE POWER was this being's hair.
