Rokini-class Clawcraft

Flight Characteristics: Very fast speed, medium-heavy shielding, light hull
Design Philosophy: The Rokini-class is latest in a long line of evolution of the Nssis-class. The most recognizable difference is the absence of the upper two claws, which reduces its armaments two just two laser cannons. Thus the remaining two cannon were upgraded to heavy lasers. In addition the Rokini-class has advanced maneuvering thrusters, enhanced sublight engines, and superior shielding. Pilot have reported favorably on the two claw design of the Rokini as it now gives them better visibility and present a smaller target profile.
Variations: Some prototypes have been equipped with one ion cannon or one missile tube in place of one of the heavy laser cannons. These experimental units are still in trials.


Chiss Scimitar Fighter Bomber

Design Philosophy: The Scimitar fighter bomber is almost as fast and nimble as their Clawcraft. The real difference between the two is the two missile tubes and the large payload of said missiles. In essence, the Scimitar is a missile ship designed to close in with large enemy vessels and unleash a volley of missiles at point blank range.

Peltast-class Interdictor Frigate

Flight Characteristics: Fast speed, medium shielding, medium armor
Design Philosophy: The Peltat’s were designed to be used on the outskirts of the battlefield to strategically cut the enemy off from probable hyperspace exits. Mounted with two powerful gravity field generators and a dedicated battery of long range turbolasers, the Peltast is ill suited for close quarters engagements. It is best used from afar and supported by Centurion-class cruisers.

Centurion-class Cruiser

Flight Characteristics: Fast speed, medium-heavy shielding, medium armor
Design Philosophy: The Centurion-class cruiser is the spear of the Phalanx. The Centurion is designed to close with the enemy fleet and engage at close range using its modest protection and superior speed to do so. The Centurions form the bulk of the Chiss fleet.

Phalanx-class Dreadnaught

Flight Characteristics: Medium-fast speed, medium-heavy shielding, medium-heavy armor
Design Philosophy: The Phalanx-class dreadnaught is the fist of the Chiss fleet. At 1800 meters its size rivals and surpasses the vessels of the GA and the Empire. Unwilling to compromise, the Chiss added superior speed and protection to complement the ship’s outstanding firepower.
