Biography: Kitana was born and raised on Mandalore. She, like all Mandalorian children was close to her mother up until the age of three when her relationship with her father would grow closer than it had ever been in the previous years. As her training as a young Mandalorian began, Kitana found that most of her time was spent with her father and two older brothers, Keno & Carrick. Keno was 3 years older than Kitana, while Carrick was 6 years older than her. This made her brothers 9 & 6 when she was 3, and gave them the advantage of more training an experience to help her with her training when their father couldn’t. Her bond with her father and brothers grew even more when she lost her mother. Kitana’s mother had grown ill over a couple of years and finally passed away when Kitana was 6 years old. After loosing her mother, she prayed that she would never loose her brothers or father and cherished every moment with them. Kitana lived a fairly normal Mandalorian childhood and developed close bonds not only with her family, but also with those within the community they lived in. However, the Mandalorian war began and Kitana was serving in the Mandalorian military, at the age of 15, though her and many of the younger forces that were old enough to be serving were asked to stay to protect Mandalore, should an attempt be made on their Homeworld. Kitana would often help out down on the ground while some of the older ones of the young scouts, most still older than her, were patroling the nearby space to be able to alert Mandalore of any incoming attacks.
At 16 Kitana received the news that her father had been killed in battle and they would be sending his body home to her. She tried to get her brothers to be allowed to return home for the ceremony, but the request was denied, so she had to let go of her second parent alone. This second loss made her very concerned for her brothers and she found herself not able to sleep well. Often times she would wake up from nightmares of her receiving news of Keno and Carrick being killed like their father. As the war drug on she and the other security forces on Mandalore grew older and gained more training the war appeared to make a sudden turn.
Just after Kitana turned 19 was when the worst thing in her life happened. They received news that the Mandalorian fleet had been cornered and had to surrender. At first she was so relieved that the war was over and that her brothers would be returning home, but that’s when they got the bad news. When the message came through that the entire fleet, other than the commanders had been destroyed after their surrender the pain of the Mandalorian people radiated across the planet and through the galaxy. Kitana couldn’t handle her emotions and without a word ran back to her home where she remained for a few days, alone and grieving.
However, soon after Kitana turned 20, she received approval from the remaining and reorganized Mandalorian government to travel to the core and seek a meeting with the senators of the Galactic Alliance. Her drive was not for herself, but for the many children within her community and across Mandalore that had either lost one or both of their parents in the massacre that had taken place at the end of the war. She felt that the Galactic Alliance may not owe the older Mandalorians anything, but the children that were now suffering because of Chief of State Sarhk Crevas’ horrible actions. Now, she on her way to try to speak with the Senators as an ambassador for Mandalore, to see what she might be able to get them to do.

Likes: Seclusion, Children, Music.

Dislikes: The way the Galactic Alliance is organized and run.

Strengths: Combat whether it is long range with a blaster or hand to hand.

Weaknesses: Letting her emotions get the best of her and her bad addictions.

Fears: The Galactic Alliance deciding that the Mandalorians are too much of a threat and deciding to wipe out the entire Mandalorian society.

Just one note there, Ki (or does she have a nickname?)- A mando woman is old enough to go to war at 13.

Kitana Motrous - November 27, 2008 05:41 AM (GMT)
Actually, I added in her nickname. It's K...
And thanks for catching that. After I wrote it I knew I needed to change it, but I guess I missed it when I glanced over it the other night before posting it. Should be all taken care of now though. :D
Thanks again. B)

Thanks, Jena.

And here's a pic of what Kitana and her squad look like. Ofcourse, she's the only woman (in the yellow) and the other four are the guys under her command.
I'm still not sure what she's going to call each of them, but yeah... at least here's a pic of 'em. B)

Ixtren - December 1, 2008 06:35 PM (GMT)

Sonji Vein - December 1, 2008 08:56 PM (GMT)
Because he's awesome like that.

and what is the squad's name? Alpha Squad II? :P

Kitana Motrous - January 28, 2009 08:30 PM (GMT)
1) Well, his father is a history fanatic and so both him and his father designed their armour to match the old storm troopers. (Plus that's the only good pic I could find of a group of Mandos with one female. XD )

2) And actually their name is Shi'yayc Traat'aliit. :P
