The Back Streets Besides teh wealthy park district there are a number of back streets in old town which make it a bit less pleasant then the nice houses across the way. Shady deals go on here, and more homeless people populate the streets then in many other major areas of the city. Just watch yourself here.

Navy Pier Navy Pier is a 3,300-foot long pier on the Chicago shoreline of Lake Michigan. Navy Pier was planned and built to serve as a mixed-purpose piece of public infrastructure. Its primary purpose was as a cargo facility for lake freighters, and warehouses were built up and down the pier. However, the pier was also designed to provide docking space for passenger excursion steamers, and in the pre-air conditioning era parts of the pier, especially its outermost tip, were designed to serve as cool places for public gathering and entertainment. The pier even had its own streetcar. It was known as a romantic spot for young lovers. you can even take a boat tour along the river from here.

Chicago Children's Museum The Chicago Children's Museum is located at Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded in 1982 by The Junior League of Chicago who were responding to programming cutbacks in the Chicago Public Schools. Originally housed in two hallways of the Chicago Public Library, it soon began to offer trunk shows and traveling exhibits in response to capacity crowds on-site. Upon the move to the Pier, the expansion made it the fourth largest children's museum in the United States.

Super Power Restriction Unit Headquarters The Headquarters of the SPRU in Chicago. Home to the first team and often boarding house of the others, this bulding is a bit of everything. A typical looking skyscraper near the center of the Streeter-ville area, surrounded by a half block grounds and a fence to keep out intruders it could almost be mistaken for another gallery or collage. Except for the silver SPRU hanging from the brickwork near the gate. If you're looking for a job come here, if you're a super, run and run fast.

Chicago River Though not especially long, the river is notable for the 19th century civil engineering feats that directed its flow south, away from Lake Michigan, into which it previously emptied, and towards the Mississippi River basin. This was done for reasons of sanitation. The river is also noted for the local custom of dyeing it green on St. Patrick's Day.

River North District the Near North Side, Chicago. It hosts the largest concentration of art galleries in the United States outside of Manhattan. Though, like most city neighborhoods, the exact boundaries are debatable a common definition puts the District in the area north of the Merchandise Mart, south of Chicago Avenue, east of Orleans and west of Lasalle. Along with hundreds of art galleries, the area holds many bars, dance clubs, popular restaurants, and entertainment venues including places like the Cathedral District," an area with many new residential skyscapers surrounding Holy Name Cathedral and a theme-restaurant area with many tourist-oriented restaurants, including Ed Debevic's, surrounding Clark and Ontario.

Union station a train station where tracks and facilities are shared by two or more railway companies, allowing passengers to connect conveniently between them. Often the station is used by all passenger trains serving the city, but this is not necessarily true; specifically, commuter trains here in Chicago, for example, still use four different terminals. If you're on the run, this is as good a place as any to vanish.

Giordano's Open for more than 43 years, Giordano's bears the name of Joseph and Efren Boglio's mother. When the brothers first opened the restaurant, the pies were garlic-laden affairs, but time and consumer tastes have tempered the recipe a bit. The heft of a slice, though, remains a constant; if you can throw down more than a couple, you should consider challenging Takeru Kobayashi at the Nathan's famous hot dog eating contest.

The Mayor's Office That's right, the city seat. Here you'll fnd the water deparment head, the electrical deprtment head, and of course sewage and sanitation. All of them occupy the first floor while the Mayor himself has a nice office on the second floor. The name on the door however, seems to have been scratched off. Who will the next mayor be?
