TIMELINE, A BRIEF EXPLAINATION OF THE PLOT'S PAST

THE BOARD'S TIMELINE !

5000 YEARS AGO

• FIRST RECORDED BIRTHEGYPT
  En Sabah Nur is born and becomes the first known mutant birth.
  
  
• SACRED DISCOVERYEGYPT
  En Sabah Nur now using the name Apocalypse over throws the pharaoh Rama-Tut and discovers not only a ship of alien design but also Rama-Tut's means of time travel into Ancient Egypt. After advancing his powers with the alien vessel and securing a bloodline on earth Apocalypse enters and uses Rama-Tut's device. He is suddenly and greatly weakened enough for his fearful followers to seal him in the device and transport it to an unknown location and behind various other seals keeping the powerful mutant imprisoned for hopefully all time.

FALL OF 1915

• SIGNS OF AN OTHER SPECIESATLANTIC OCEAN
  British are sent to a location in the Atlantic Ocean that is close to New York to recover underwater vibranium but are sunk by unknown assailants. Telepath Leonard McKenzie and his crew make the first known contact with the people of Atlantis. Mckenzie impregnates the princess prompting his ship to be attacked but he survives. It is also around this time that various governments first discovered members of the race that would later be called Mutants. Early testing into creating super humans begins but due to a lack of technology and study in the field results are slow. However, using genetic samples from mutants and attempting to replicate them has steadily enhanced the speed and development.

1940s WAR WORLD II ERA

• BIRTH OF THE SUPER SOLIDERSAMERICA
  In the early 1940s America had succeeded in creating the first of the super soldiers by means of the Super Solider Formula and the use of vita rays through the Rebirth Chamber. Project: Rebirth as it later became known as produced Captain America but with the supposed destruction of the chamber and death of lead scientist Dr. Abraham Erskine the same formula and results have never been exactly duplicated but many countries and private groups have attempted to do it. During this time both the Axis and Allied Powers applied the services of super humans in order to increase their chances of winning the war. With the creation of both the atomic bomb and the threat of creating more like Captain America it was no surprise when the war was eventually won by the Allies but at the cost of the existence of super humans being known and the loss of Captain America.

SPRING OF 2005

• FORMATION OF SUPER HERO TEAMSAMERICA
  The world has already been introduced to many different people calling themselves Super Heroes and even many different Super Villains but no groups or teams really formed until this year. Although 'team ups' were common the world never saw the heroes unite under a single group until the team known as the Avengers were formed from some of the world's most popular and will known heroes. Later during the year the team known as the Fantastic Four would appear as well the first class of of students at the Xavier Institute would form the X-Men and operate out of secrecy in compliance with the government as not to reveal the existence of mutants to the populace.

THE PRESENT

• THE COMING STORMAMERICA
  The entire time that the world has been exposed to all the super humans there have been organizations designed not only for them or to help them but also ones to destroy and create them should the need arise. The long running Weapon Plus Program was originally designed to create super soldiers but it like its counter part HYDRA and its splinter program Weapon X have also taken up the duty of finding away to destroy these beings. To this end Weapon Plus has used the threat of mutants to motivate its to current not only weaponry to this end but also a task force and other means. For the time being they have appropriated in secret but the time will soon come when they will open begin hunting down any rogue super human or threat to the country and when it does, they will be ready.

EVENTS THAT HAVEN'T HAPPENED

• MUTANTS BEING KNOWN
  Mutants are a common sight in this day and age but the race itself as a whole is kept a mystery still from the public. This is done by various governments as not to spread panic of a race that is quickly replacing humans as the dominant species and causing mass havoc. Many mutants who are known to have powers such has the X-Men either have their identities hidden or are believed to simply be normal meta humans or both. The truth will soon be revealed but as of yet it just hasn't happened.
  
  
• PHOENIX SAGA
  Although the mutant Jean Grey is a powerful telepathic and telekinetic she hasn't however received her second mutation which allowed for her to carry the Phoenix Force within her. Due to this neither her nor any of the other that are known hosts such as Quentin Quire, The Cuckoos and so on do not nor have ever hosted the Phoenix Force within their bodies. The Force is for the most part still wondering around in space.
  
  
• RECENT CROSS OVER EVENTS
  Pretty much all of the recent cross over events have not yet according on this board's time line. What this means is that events such as Decimation, War World Hulk, Civil War, and Dark Reign, etc etc haven't accord and should not be included in a character's history section. You may however notice that some of the character's have their names fitting their new super human identities like Norman Osborn. These changes do not have to be followed just yet if their players don't wish for them but we do have plot ideas that will be our own versions of some of these events which would require the switch from Green Goblin to Iron Patriot and so on.

WHAT WAS MIXED FOR THIS BOARD

• X-MEN EVOLUTION
  Originally we were an evolution heavy board but this has changed to just a light sparkle of it like some of the others. What we have kept is that the Xavier Institute is indeed close to the town of Bayville and some of the series originals are allowed on here such as Spyke. It is also fine to use some of the character's histories from this show and its short comic series to aid in your own character's history if need be. There are also many plot elements that have been token and played out with the other from other such shows but only as we advance in game play.
  
  
• MAINSTREAM 616 UNIVERSE
  For those of you that may not be sure on this, 616 is the main or considered only 'canon' universe for Marvel. Much of a character's history would be from this universe as it is the most detailed one around do to all the years its been used. Simple history for characters is followed like normal with the exception of big cross over events or radical changes such as in the case of the mutant Rogue. There will also be many of its Sentinel models, devices, and situations that will be reused, made grander, or completely revamped to create a more unique nature to the board as well as keep to the canon most fans love.
  
  
• ULTIMATE UNIVERSE
  The Ultimate Universe provided many new twists and aspects of characters while also sticking to some canon which is what we try to do here as well. Aspects of this universe can also be used in the history or personalities of some characters but only as an aid not as a solid 'use only this' type of thing. With such radical changes to some of them such as the Fantastic Four gaining their abilities through the Negative Zone instead of cosmic radiation it will have to be up to whoever signs up as the first Fantastic Four member and which they choice to go with. This however doesn't mean you have to use this universe's history for them you can simply change their origin but stick to a more 616 history after that if you choose. There are also certain plot elements that will be used for the board which also will be revealed when their plots are permitted.
  
  
• ORIGINAL CONTENT
  Given the many different elements from this three prime universes the staff of this board has a lot to use to make a unique experience for everyone that has joined us. Along with mixing elements into new theme we have also created our own completely original content to be revealed at later dates. All that we have created will be revealed and detailed just before their plots are used to give you the members insight on them as well as figuring out how to RP them or around them. This also provides each member to not only use patches of canon from these universes but to make them flow into their own unique story for each character as well as making up parts as long as the canon core of the character is maintained. This means powers aren't changed, Peter was a nerd in school not a jock, Xavier started the X-Men, etc etc such basic and core foundations such as that. With his system it is believed that those that like canon characters can stick to what they love and those that like originals would in essence be able to get at least some of that feeling in the canon character's creation.
