many stories on the modern mutant groups have been told but never one on their origins.
whats told here won't be what everyone knows but isn't that how history always is?
    For thousands of years mankind has been the dominate race out of all the species that the planet has bore, or at least that is what they have always believed. However, it wasn't their advancements in art, architecture, or even literature that made them a formidable race. It is their technology and science that has made them so. As the eons passed it has steadily grown until they were able to achieve a level that even surprised them. This however has begun to lead to the humans discovering that they probably never were the greatest of all the planet's creatures after all, the phrase Super Human alone meant you were above normal people.

    The existence of actual super humans was originally kept a secret from the general populace of the world's many countries. Each one had their own reasons for this as well as their own goals involving them. Even though each country had a handful of this people known to them and used them in work, war, or simply to study it wouldn't be until the the second world war that they would try to create them. At the same time that scientists in had begun to work on the first atomic bomb and an other group under the command of the government sanctioned Weapon Plus Program begun work on their first 'Super Solider'. Since this time however, super humans have begun to appear and be created by other means some of which even accidental.

    As the super human (called metas by the government) populace begun to rise they were eventually made public to the world. Although mixed feeling regarding them was expect, these people were slowly become accepted until the rise of both heroes and villains the unease become such that Weapon Plus director Malcolm Colcord has been ordered to use the program to develop whatever means he could in order for the meta to be handled in the event that they become too much. Colcord has used the program to develop many different projects to this end ass well as using his knowledge of the race known as Mutants in his studies as well. Mutant are for the most part unknown to the public for fear of the wide spread panic that might come from knowing that there is a whole race that is not only their genetic superiors but could one day replace them completely.

Conclusions Manifest is an AU RP based off of the Marvel Universe taking bits from a few different ones. There are many familiar settings and character that will be within but also new enemies, factions, situations, as well as direction of the over all plot itself. We'd like to remind everyone that although we don't believe in rating a board we do expect a level of quality posts of moderate sizes from our members.

Be informed that you can only reserve a character for a set amount days, and that you cannot post until your application is both completed and approved.
