Okay, here are the base rules of our forum:
1: Be Respectfull. The qualities of a good forum show the quality of it's members, and Visa Versa.
2: Please try to spell corrently. In other words, try not to say "U" for you, and "Wuz" for was, etc.
3: Abreviations are allowed, but try to post more content than just "LMAO" in one post.
4: Prohibited items include:
Any subject matter considered inappropriate by the staff will be edited or removed. This includes, but isn't limited to, the following items:
Inappropriate usernames will be banned. If this is the user's only offense, said user may re-register with a more appropriate name.
PROFANITY: the forums will automatically filter for profanity. In addition, repeated use of profanity, or attempts to circumvent the profanity filter, may result in a grounding or a ban.
PORNOGRAPHY: Any form of material that may be considered as pornographic and/or obscene in nature is strictly prohibited. Any such content will be removed, and the poster of such material will be banned from the forums.
ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES: Any form of illegal activity is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, the distribution of copyrighted materials via unauthorized channels, and/or the discussion of fansubs and bootlegs.
COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL: Any form of copyrighted material may not be posted to the site. This includes, but isn't limited to, the posting of illustrations, artwork, or any type of image with an assigned copyright.
NO POLITICS, NO RELIGION: the forums do not endorse any specific religious or political beliefs,
and we ask that our members refrain from posting any topics related to either subject matter. Offending posts will be promptly removed.
TROLLING: "Trolling" is defined as intentionally starting topics for the purpose of creating a stir or causing a flame-war. Any thread and/or post considered "trolling" by the forum staff will be locked or deleted.
FLAME WAR: "Flaming" is defined as the exchange of insults and/or the degradation of a person's character. If a disagreement between two parties within a topic thread degenerates into a flame war, the topic in question will be locked or deleted.
BASHING: "Bashing" is defined as criticism of a person, product, or company that isn't constructive and/or is insulting in nature. While well-mannered criticisms are both welcome and tolerated, personal insults and attacks are not. If a post or a thread degenerates into bashing, they will be locked or deleted.
SPAM: "Spam" is defined as a post consisting of unsolicited advertisements, pointless messages that do nothing but take up disk space and bandwidth, and/or posting an identical message across multiple forums. While members are allowed to occasionally post a link to their personal pages, they should do so in the most appropriate forum. Constant advertisement of your site (defined as "plugging") is discouraged and will be reprimanded. Note: putting a link to your site in your signature is not considered spam.
HACKING: Any form of hacking is against the rules, and will be dealt with according to the severity. This includes "IP Spoofing" or other exploits. Offenses of this type will result in a permanent ban.
DUPLICATE ACCOUNTS: Duplicate accounts are not allowed for whatever reason. Members who violate this policy will face disciplinary action. If you are having difficulty logging in, please send an email to the forum admin and we will look into the problem as soon as possible. If you want to change your user name, please contact the forum staff and we will handle it on a case-by-case basis.
DISPUTES WITH STAFF: If you have a problem with a moderator on the forums, do not post a public message about the matter. Instead, privately contact the forum admin through the private messaging feature on the forum. You can also send him an e-mail by clicking on the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page. Any public comments about a moderator and his/her actions will be removed. This includes publicly arguing with a staff member with regards to his decisions and/or policy enforcement.
