starting off with:
joining
when you join there are a few things you need to keep in mind! first things first. when registering register like this... . first name middle name last name example ... Draco Abraxas Malfoy if you can't do that, or you need a name change then we can fix that for you. there are no current character caps.. and you can have as many characters as you want

next up on the block:
application

there is no application persay however we are here to roleplay and the best grammar that you can use during your roleplay the better. no one is perfect but we can all work together. okay, well since there is no application what do you do? after you have registered head over to the sorting thread and tell us about your character by filling out the code. once you are sorted fill out the claims or throw up a plotter. after everything is all done there... then you can roleplay. remember you need a real life celebrity to play your character/characters. that means you must have an avatar. any size will do as our board will resize your photo to the correct dimensions.




wo-ah, we're already:
role-playing
now that you're role-playing, please make sure not to
god mod, power-play, or basically take control over
another players character unless they give you permission.
please write in third person ( "she said, he said, they said," )
and not first person ( "i said, you said, they said,") or in present
tense: ( "she looks, he looks," ). past tense & third person.
please keep your posts neat. that means i would like to see size
one or zero, but two is fine as well. anything over three, well
we got ourselves a problem.
short notice: we have a word count of 250+ words! kthx guys.
automatic relationships: unless they're stated family,
please make sure you plot with the other person before
jumping into a relationship. oh, and keep the "forbidden"
relationships down - slytherins & gryffindors do like the other
houses as well! oh; and another thing. boardnamehere is a mature
post-potter fourm. so, that means adult situations will be
played out here. dont like it? dont join.

posting
Alright, so we all know that it's rude to pester people for posts, right? Right. Here's the thing though, in order to keep things moving we expect CANON CHARACTERS to post Once every 7 days and NON-CANON CHARACTERS to post Once every 8 days. Non-Cannon characters are expected to post at least once every four days if they are a part of a thread required for site wide plots, such as DE or Order meetings. If you know you're going to be gone or too busy to do that, please let us know by keeping an updated Absences and Returns thread.

I just want to add in here about the word count. Sometimes it's hard to always get up to 250 words, we understand that so if you can't every time that's okay just don't let it happen too often! Now... as far as the meetings go (such as meetings at work, the order, or the death eaters) then short posts are okay but please at least get up 100 words. Interaction is the key!
