the minister of magic elections have just occurred! neville longbottom won by a landslide. in addition to being the leader of the order, he is now the leader of the wizarding world. the order has received intel that there may be an attack on the ministry by the death eaters in the near future. draco malfoy has come to the good side to help with the order and bring down his father. he is also heading the board of governors for the restoration of hogwarts.

Charity Ball
This event will be taking place on the 20th of December. This event is for the whole wizarding world to raise money for the war relief. This fund provides shelter, food, water, clothes, and transportation for those that lost everything in the last war. Many lives were lost, so many Hogwarts students are now in orphanages; so some of the money will go to the orphanages that house the students.
This is a formal event! So grab a date or not, or come with your family and help out the cause! Time to put on your best gowns and suits ladies and gentlemen!

Takes place both under and in the Scaenae Colosseum. A board shows where the class will take place at the entrance of the stables.

Starlight Tower
A single tower with a small door at the base that climbs up to the heavens. Inside it is hallow with a staircase that juts out from the outer walls. Quite cold and drafty in the winter, still, the viewing platform at the top is worth every stair. A railing runs along the stairs towards the middle of the tower so there can be no accidents. Everything is made of a dark grey stone and pale wood. The tower top is half flat, half peaked, covered in light green wooden shingles. The viewing platform is of the same grey stone as the tower.

The Stables
You better have permission to be in here or the COMC instructor may take house points. No horses are held in these stables. Instead, creatures you will learn about in the COMC class are housed here. There is a tunnel under the stable that goes the Colosseum where some of the dark loving animals reside.

A huge field that runs for what seems forever until it hits the forest. Come here to wash your cares away in the small creek that runs through the southwestern corner. There are paths leading to who knows where.

Singing Pansies Garden
It doesn't only hold Singing Pansies, though that is what it is names for. Nearer the Greenhouses there are things you would find in a normal garden. Neatly lined up with charms to keep the wild animals from making an easy meal.

This covered courtyard is a good place to go when it's raining and being in Hogwarts just isn't an option. There is a covered bridge connecting this courtyard to Rose Petal Fields.

Pixie Dust Field
Was that a Pixie? Hopefully not the nasty kind. All sorts of interesting things can be found in this field, if one knows how to look. In the summer it is an oasis of flowers. In the winter, it can be used for the best sort of snowball fights ever. Just don't be surprised if a Pixie joins in on the fun.

Rose Petal Fields
Huge fragrant roses crowd the walkways of this field. Any color rose can be found here and the scents are not so great for those with allergies. Take a moment to stop and smell the roses here on your way to Starlight Tower. It's from there you can see the patterns to the roses.

A visitor to the Ministry of Magic comes to a broken-down red telephone box located on a dingy street which has several shabby offices, a pub, and a wall covered with graffitti. When the telephone in the box is dialed (62442, the word M-A-G-I-C), the welcome witch's voice answers, not from the phone but from the air as if the person is standing right there. Visitors must state their business, upon which a silver badge pops out with the visitor's name and purpose of visit. Then the telephone box drops down like a lift for about one minute, after which the visitor is in the Atrium.
