Ricky is one of Tree Hill's younger resident bad boy, and a free spirit rebel who never obeys the rules. Not in his foster care nor in his love life. He's a womanizer with deep rooted issues though in the school hallways don't know about those issues just the one in his therapist office.

Ricky doesn't talk much about his past and most people don't know nothing about him. The only person that even knows a tad bit about him is Lily Shephard. They have been best friends since the day they have met. Ricky and her have shared almost everything together even if its only been six months. He may trust her, but he still has learned to keep people at bay.

Ricky has told Lily that his mother had taken off when he was a baby and left him with his father who was a drug addict. What Ricky had not told her or anyone except his therapist besides his Foster parents is that his father is in jail because Ricky came forward with having sexually abuse him.

Ricky was placed into almost all the foster homes in Tree Hill or Chapel Hill. He was lucky not to get shipped out the state or country. At least Tree Hill has been somewhat home for him.

Right now Ricky is taking a couple summer school classes, but other than that he's causing trouble and breaking hearts. Plus driving his best friend's father up a wall with them getting closer
