There is not only the stones that guard cities but also many other stones. These are made by alchemists and blessed by sorcerors to give them a special property. This allows the user to control this certain thing, like an element, or his strength. These stones alone arent special at all unless the user has the mental power and will to divert and control the power of the stones. My character, being the most powerful man in the kingdom possesses many different stones so can harness their power with varieing degrees of success. This magic is, as far as I know, unique to the 'Sammii' concept so it will be a change from any of your RPs u also go on. However Rudanikan mages are notoriously powerful in the knights...

Ahhhh so my guy could have a ring of fire and that would mean he could control fire. One question... could he make fire or would he have to have a fire already then control the flames.
