While Linny is Away

I really like the people on this forum and I hate seeing them turned off and moving away for looking beyond the first topic on the menu because of some one's slutty spam header. Please, please, please take a moment and add a new topic of clean info to get rid of the spam. I found a lot of times someone has posted something interesting but I didn't open the forum topic with the smut headliner showing up and low an behold just before the smut one of you posted some interesting info on Christopher.

Don't forget to check. You don't have to open the smut topic at all.

This forum could use a boost.

Like I said before, there is only one way to control the spammers on this forum. I had a huge problem with porn on my forum and took care of it. Now I go so far as to approve all new members and if a name is suspicious, I deny thier membership.

I would never open one of those topics anyway, last time I did I got a virus. I learned my lesson.

Goog advice not opening any of this crap....I just got back from vacation and still no word from Linny. She is the only one who can clean up this forum. I really like all of the people who comment in this forum and I'd hate to see the end of this site. Finding CM forums that are continually full of news and thoughts is rare. the SVU site is good but more MH than CM. What to do...What to do.....

The only way to clean the forum is to tighten it up. I agree good CM forums have been hard to come by, that is why I was so glad to find this one.

I have to approve all members on my news forum. There are plenty of anti-spambot systems available for websites. That was the only way I knew to cut down on spam and I was glad I did.

It would be nice for this forum to be more active; I know there are plenty of Meloni fans out there.

But we will see what happens here.

Well, forum members come and go. It seems par for the course that forums have hundreds of "silent" members and a handfull of active contributing members. It's been like that on every forum I've ever been a part of and even on the one I currently run. Eventually, it picks up and the members really click, THEN you remember why running a forum was such a cool idea to begin with!

Has anyone heard from Linny? I know several people were trying to get in touch with her.

I'm still the new kid here, but I hope things are ok with her.

I'm getting a little depressed over the absence of Linny. I have tried to email her and there hasn't been any reply. I even emailed Brian the Webmaster of CM's site and he never responded about her. I know there is a lot of work getting a forum going and keeping it running smooth but to leave this site just like that.

I enjoyed all who have participated at this site and miss the ones who've left to built their LJ or Space Book pages. When Brian had it on the CM site, it worked well until the spammers hit the Ezboard web page. That web page is still a problem for any of its forums so I just don't go there anymore.

One of our members, MashFanficChic, was the one who said Linny had some personal issues but I don't know how she found that out. If anyone knows Linny, please help us out. It took me a long time before I felt comfortable posting on any site and now that I got the nerve to do it....well, let's keep putting our heads together.

Hey, Brian, if you're reading this, do you have anything new coming to your CM site? It hasn't changed in quite a while. How to do you keep in touch with CM?

I hope everything is OK with Linny. I don't her at all so I will definitely say a prayer for her and whatever she is going through.

Are there any Moderators here on this forum? I was never sure about that.

Nope, she is the only one running this forum.

Just another update. I haven't heard from Linny; her email address is no longer showing...just a click here mention on her profile. I tried but to date there has been no response. I believe, MASHFANFICCHICK said she knows Linny? Help us out if you can get a hold of her. I know she belongs on a couple of the LJ sites some of you have. Can any of you get in touch with her and at least tell her we'd like to hear something.
