Hey everybody!

This thread will be the primary thread in which to discuss the Fellowship of Atopos.

Be sure to look at the rules and the map before you start.

Let the adventure begin!

I have posted the first "introductory" posting! It is much longer than my other posts will be, because it is telling the basic story of the fellowship!

Don't worry, posts will be shorter now that we have introduced the story. tongue.gif

Thanks biggrin.gif

It's a "scroll" (sticky) in this forum. ~Link~

EDIT>> Just as a bit of "credits", the beginning storyline was made by TheOrk, Maedhros and I.

Are there names to the islands and stuff? Or are they just considered territories?

We left everything vague so that it could be filled in by the players. wink.gif

Yep! spear.gif

I think even after we have names for the islands and what-not, we'll use the coordinates for "ease-of-use" sake, but the names will be something we use more and more (as they are created).

Either a lot of you have a fascination with the F-18 hornet, or you're collaborating stories..which one is it?

Heh heh heh... the F-18 is a marvelous piece of machinery, but we do indeed have something else in mind...

QUOTE (CW Storytelling Rules)
Structure:

6. The protagonists of the story are members of the Fellowship. All players may only have one character, who must be a member of the Fellowship. This way, all players are not overburdened and can devote more time and effort to their posts.

We are all to have one fellowship, sharing one quest. Think of the LOTR Fellowship - it is much like that - a fellowship on a quest.

But since you've already started writing (and I good entry, I must say), I guess you will have to start from where you are and join us when you can.

Be sure to read those rules though. wink.gif

EDIT>> In this forum, anything theOrk says trumps me, so if he disagrees with my post, that will be something to discuss later. cool.gif

Aye.

Shadow, you can keep that post if you want but you should probably rewrite it. Unless your character starts moving west at once, the fellowship will probably be halfwaythrough the story by the time they meet. Not all characters have to join up at once, but yours is too far. wink.gif

I guess this would be true for Legolas as well....

Lol. I didn't realize we were doing a fellowship sort of thing... wink.gif I edited my post so I'm a bit north of F-18. As long as you guys stay where you are, I'll move my character south pretty soon.

Since Legolas's character has already arrived, it doesn't matter anymore.

However, it would take days to travel from H-16 to F-18, the same goes for the other grids as well. So I'll just edit "H-16" to say "F-18" since there's a forest in that grid as well as the city.
