After a year or so of working on this in my spare time it is finally complete. 150 pages! WOOT! Now, just because it is long, does not mean it will take long to read, the later chapters are mostly action and the pictures are big. So take your time and enjoy it! smile.gif

The Castle World Comic series has been a wonderful oppurtunity for me to practise my drawing skills and provide something fun for you guys to read. The journey has been interesting, with my art style and techniques changing every issue and the story as well. The whole series has been a bundle of odd characters and plots, but this issue really wraps it all together and puts a cap on the whole series.

Without further ado, I give you the FINAL COMIC! (always typed in caps for emphasis tongue.gif ):

Comic 24
Reign of Chaos
Starring: Quill Master and Maedhros have the biggest roles, but everyone else is pretty major
Guest appearance: Numerous cameos
Pace: It gets faster and more action packed each chapter
The Chapters: These are based on the stand alone comics they were supposed to be:

Chapter 1: Civil No More
Chapter 2: To Arms
Chapter 3: Dogs of War
Chapter 4: Into the Inferno
Chapter 5: Brave New World

Click the titlepage to veiw the comic!

Woah, after so many years and so many battles I can't believe that the war is finally over. It's late where I live right now and I have school tomorrow, but I don't care. I'm going to finish reading this tonight. orc1.gif

Wow, that was a blast, Graynar! It's so long I don't really know what to pick out but I guess just saying that the artwork in general is fantastic is starting to sound a bit repetetive. However, it's true... wink.gif

Awesome work, dude, it has been a real pleasure following it all. You had me laughing out loud a lot of times as well as really admiring the drawing style in places. I see a good future for you!

Oh, and the best page has to be this one laugh.gif

Wow, that was freaking epic.

The length was daunting just to read... I cannot imagine trying to draw all of that. The art was great, well done with keeping the level of work up throughout the whole issue. The storyline was very good too. I was genuinely surprised at some points... you did well in keeping the story interesting.

That photo of you at the end was a nice touch. Has anyone told you that you resemble Sylar from the show Heroes? [link]

Thanks for all the work you have put into the comics. Reading them has been one of one of the highlights of this site for me.

Bravo!

Thanks Myrddin! I really appreciate that! smile.gif

It took a long time to draw, as it was mostly on and off work. The most pages I drew in one day were 8. On average it was 4-6 pages. And somedays when I didn't have much time -it was just 1 page. laugh.gif

I might have to watch Heroes now, to see if I'm related to him. wink.gif

Thanks again.

Well, it looks like Hordesman is the only active member who hasn't commented, though I guess you really only got half a comment from Quill Master.

But yeah, the site is pretty dead, it seems. sad.gif

True, though the orc didn't say his final thoughts either after finishing it.

Hordesman replied to me on msn about it, I guess he feels no need to comment here as well.

I was never involved in the comics so I can't really comment.

As for the 'dead' site - I still visit here regularly and would hope the rest of you are still doing the same, even if we don't get much new stuff these days.

Hey.

My internet was laggy for a month, so I didn't bother visiting the site, since very little was going on. About the comic, I was pretty darn sure I made a lengthy response the last time I was here. I'll just rewrite the jist of it. I wrote a paragraph for each chapter last time, but right now I don't have the time to rewrite those. orccrazy2.gif

Anyway, I thought it was awesome. This was with out a doubt the best comic I ever read. One of the best things I've ever read over all. I love medieval war stories, last stands and LEGO, all of those together are a winning combination. The thing that made this stand out for me though was the fact that "I" was there, as well as all of you guys. While reading this, I reached a level of immersement I doubt I'll feel again any time soon.

Now that the forum is virtually dead, I realize how much it meant to me. This was the one real place where I could act like a weirdo and meet other weirdos like myself. In these last three short years, my writing ability has come along a lot, and I owe a lot of that to this site in some way, if this place goes I guess I'll be left out in the cold.

Fifty years down the road, if I remember anything from this site, it could only be the final edition of the comic. If the site goes down for good, and none of us ever hear from each other again, I at least will remember that we all went out with a bang.

I'm already getting nostalgic just thinking about it. orcawww.gif

Fantastic job Graynar.
