Title: The Portal

How should I use it on TLF.com? What do I need to do to adjust it? I would appreciate any help.

Also, I'm thinking of making an InvisionFree site dedicated to history. :) Would any of you like to join(if and when I make it)?

Here is my idea for the forum layout:

Ancient History

Hellenic History

Roman History

Middle Ages

Renaissance

Age of Discovery

Napoleonic History

Victorian History

World War I

World War II

Cold War

Modern History

Alternate History

Future History

There would be other stuff too. Like, maybe, "Armchair General section, Historical Art section, etc." Whaddya think?

I'm just as clueless about the portal as you are, Napoleon.

As to the history forum, this is just my advice:

It depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for disscussion about history, then there are probably many history forums already out there for you to join. If you want the great feeling of running your own forum, then go for it; at least with history there is always discussion, as there is always something to talk about. Knowing you, I'm surprised you haven't joined an alternate history forum :P .

Anyways, that's just my advice. Just remember: a man can only spend so much of his time on the internet, and of that time he does spend, he has to prioritize it. I tried to play a game called Diplomacy through E-Mail, and I know I would have had fun, but I didn't want to spend that much time on the web, just staring at a computer screen. C-C, CW, and TLF came first, so I dropped the game. I'd just hate to see that happen to you, although you have so much energy, it probably won't :spear: .

But hey...if you can make it work, go for it! :D Shoot for the moon--if yous miss, at least you'll land among the stars.

Actually, I spend hours each day staring at the computer and TV. :P I think I would end up able to have time to manage it, though. Oh, I've looked at alternate history forums. ;)
