Most importantly, be respectful. We are open to people of all levels of experience. There may be players who have just started role-playing and ones who have been doing it for years. If someone needs a little help with their writing, be encouraging and helpful. TWO:
As we are open to everyone, we also do not have any limits as a forum. If you are going to have mature content in your role-play, or think it's a possibility, please denote in your title description "M" and then V, S, or L for what kind of content there will be. THREE:
Please, no chat-play in the forums or in the CBox. Also, try not to clutter the cbox with discussion of your role-play, please take it to a PM or in a plotting/commentary thread.
Example of a Chat-Play:
(character name) : -action-
-emotions, thoughts, or commentary-
RESPECT the staff. I hope I don't need to elaborate this, but please, just be respectful and courteous to everyone, including the staff. FIVE:
Do not steal. Don't steal people's characters, their ideas, or their writing. Don't plagiarize. SIX:
We don't have a word minimum, but this is not Neopets. We want you to try and produce good quality posts. If you're just starting out and need some help, we will all be very happy to help you out! Any of the staff will be happy to help you with your writing at any time. SEVEN:
When it comes to what name you use in the cbox, please have it relate somehow to your screen name to save confusion. Or, make your screen name more simple when you sign up. We are still small so pretty much anything is up for grabs. EIGHT:
You may not post a one on one search for an off-site role-play until you have made at least FIVE role-play posts.
If you are found in violation of any of these rules, you are liable to be suspended, removed, or given a stern talking to GRAVEYARDONE:
Role-plays and searches will be grave-yarded if they haven't received a new post in 1 month. TWO:
Posts to searches that are not done by the creator do not count. To be counted active, the topic starter must post on it. This is to prevent people from posting on dead searches that they're not going to get replies back from. THREE:
If you would like your grave-yarded topic to be revived, just PM one of the admins or moderators. A list with links to their PM can be found in the sidebar. FOUR:
Exceptions will be made if you and the people in your group are going to be on hiatus for more than a month. In that case, you need to edit your title to note that your RP is on break. Please contact a mod or admin explaining your situation before you do this so that we don't move you to the graveyard.FIVE:
If your topic is grave-yarded, you will be notified by e-mail.
