I would like to run a D&D 3.5 edition campaign. My preference is to use tabletop software (OpenRPG) which allows us to play the game in real time using text, dice, maps, miniatures, and all that fancy stuff. If you've never heard of or never used the software before, then don't worry about it. The thing is as easy to use as a web forum.
The advantage of tabletop (OpenRPG) software is that we can play in live game time.
The disadvantage of playing in live time is that most or all of the players need to be committed to showing up.
If we opt for forum replies instead of tabletop software, then we can have up to 5 players. If we use the tabletop software, then I will only be looking for 3 players.
So before I get down to business, I have a few questions to ask. Please answer them by replying to the thread.
1.) Do you have any experience with D&D? Which versions of the game? 2.) Would you prefer to play a game using the forum reply system on Caeliria or the tabletop software (OpenRPG)? Remember that the tabletop program is in *live* time, while the forum is much slower. 3.) Do you prefer playing good or evil characters? 4.) Do you prefer combat hack-n-slash or do you prefer role playing and interacting with NPCs/Characters? Do you prefer a simple balance between the two?
Let's DO THIS.
