I don't understand why you guys want to create a new "club". Good luck creating everything from the ground up, it will take a lot of effort to populate the club/get the word out. Why don't you use CTMaximas.org as a platform (which many know about) to make it even better and open the site to other Nissans since we already have various cars on here. WhiteA32 and I own this site and would like to hear your opinions...

I still plan on getting the CTMaximas.org Decals for my car and having them on my car. This site is the sight that created it all. Its just not a lot of people in CT have Maximas specifically ct is dominated by altimas and sentras IMO. For example the whole point of CTNissans or w.e. the name is going to be is to have a bigger group than CTSubies which includes any subaru with its Car Club Name Title Basically. This site is a great site and i hope that it dosnt seem like i'm bashing it cause i'm not.

The reason this site does not have many Altimas or Sentras is because it is a Maxima website. LOL

Aaron is right. You figure you are going to start a new club with two of you. Here you have 300+ members already that know about it. Many may not have Maximas, but you have a few Altimas and a few other random Nissans. Here you will be able to advertise to them and then advertise however else you want to.

Aaron and Sunny will be able to create new subforums to accommodate the new models of Nissans that may join this site. If it takes off enough, maybe merge the site with the old CtNissans site? Thats something you have to take up with them if they still own it.

In all you really should be using this site as a base instead of building from the ground up like Aaron said.

I know that. That is y our group is never bigger than CT Subies cuase this site is only for Maximas which dosn't open up the club at all.

No. The reason it is not as big as CTSubie is because there are, IMHO at least double the amount of people in this state that mod Subaru's over Nissans. If you were able to gather most of the 240's, Altima's, Maxima's, Z's etc.. then you could maybe rival them, but I still think they would have the edge.

I forget who had it, but either Aaron, Sunny, or Keith opened a CTNissans.org site. It isn't around anymore, but they may still own it. At first I think they were going to try and merge the sites, but I'm not sure what happened. Either didn't work out, too expensive, or just didn't have enough interest whether that was due to lack of recruitment or just lack of interest to develop a new site.

I forgot what Sunny decided to do with it. He isn't as active on this site because he has been very busy with school since he is graduating this year.
