No need to pay dealer prices. I know a lot of members are paying big bucks to have shops install their performance parts and do their repairs when we have org members who are perfectly capable of doing the work. If anyone needs work done, talk to me. I'll get it done for next to nothing and I will show you how to do it. B)

you pay for the work you get and the experience and a warranty to back it up. something you dont get from people who do it on the side so rip off i think not. just not as cheap. but hey to each there own.

I've always had a good experience there, always had parts for my Max and my boyfriends SE-R, never had to wait for anything, AND he gave me a discount.

Nice guys!

And I agree with Randy, you get what you pay for, I'd rather have someone who works on Nissans all day work on my car then someone who works on every other car in the book-- They usually end up calling the dealer asking for help anyway! lol

Someone sure sounds like they work there. If there is something I can't do on any of my cars, I would rather pay someone on the side 5 times rather then pay that place once.

Maybe their service department is great, but if it is anything like the sales department I'll pass.

Wow. That is a lot of money. Especially since it takes 15 minutes to replace and what maybe $50 to buy it from a junk yard or on Maxima.org?

I needed the mechanism that unlocks the door lid also, but regardless, they're a rip off. Not to mention they told me they would paint it but it wouldn't match completely unless I paid an extra $400 for blending into the rear quarter....yea right, blow me lol

I have never really met people that HAVE to go to the dealer because they like it, with three exceptions. They work there, they are friends/related to someone who does, or have a car under warranty.

If I had to guess, rollinmax works there, because he is doing some promoting and gets a little angry when people bash dealers, and Kalie is a friend (I guess of rollinmax).

And for the record I have no problem with this places service, just saying if they are like the sales, F that.

Na, I don't hate on the dealers, but just saying that in some cases I've been quoted almost double by them for work compared to other respectable shop quotes. As far as service goes, I'll admit that I've had nothing been top notch customer service from the dealer.

Well thats good I guess? I worked at Acura and whenever they had a car whether it be a Honda, Nissan, Ford, whatever, they would end up calling them for some sort of question. Its common sence... if you work on Nissans all day, it starts to become second nature... which is why they probly call you?!? Obviously you have worked on them long enough to know them in and out!

May be more expensive but goin to the deal is way worth it in the end... not like I can afford it anyway

There used to be a guy on Maxima.org that hooked people up with really good prices on Nissan parts. He works at a dealership in Illinois or something. DaveB or Dave B I can't remember which one though.

DAVEB from Cali, i believe. He's hooked up A TON of people on the ORG. i've called him a few times about some random parts and each time he gave me a sick deal.

Ahh for some reason I thought my parts came from Illinois, but it was also over two years ago. He got me a 5th gen clutch kit and some other parts for WAY less then other dealer. It was even cheaper then buying the bottom line stuff they would sell at NAPA or Pepboys.
