Anyone looking for a bike? Selling a 2002 Yamaha V-Star 1100 for a friend. It only has 4,995 original miles about 10 of which were put on by him. He bought it in 2008 and never got into riding. The bike is really nice. The battery is dead, but I put it on a charger tonight hoping it will still take a charge.
It has a couple of minor problems. The throttle sticks a little bit. I fixed this before by removing the throttle and removing some debris that got in there and it was fine so it could just be some gunk inside. Second is the pipes have a little bit of dis-coloration due to the choke being left open too long. I have a picture of it, but is pretty minor. Asking $3500 for it. Blue book is almost a grand more for a bike with triple the mileage. This is a great bike for someone looking to get into them. PM me and I can get you some more pictures or get you his cell phone.
