so like the topic says. brought the car to shop and they checked it out and came up with evap system. the canister is leakin and the vavle. they want $500 to fix it. where can i get these parts cheap, and is it job i can do myself.thx

Is it the charcoal canister? I would just patch it or get one at the junkyard. I might have an extra one from a 4th gen. idk if it will work on a 5th gen, but it might be worth a try.

It's that box label "14950" goes for $173.00 brand new at www.courtesyparts.com. This is for the 5.5gen which from your signature is what you have.
