I just put an Eclipse CD3000 in my whip last week end. My hopes were good, I heard a lot of excellent reviews from people about the Eclipses. I decided since I had some Circuit City gift cards I would give the CD3000 a try. My Pioneer really wasn't cutting it. And my Atlas 15 was sounding like crap. The installation was very easy since I had the wiring harness and antenna adapter from my Pioneer. All I had to do was solder the wires together. It was easy.

When I first put a CD in the Eclipse I didn't have my sub connected. It made my interior speakers sound clearer and better right from the start. I could tell right away. I couldn't wait to hook my sub up. I got everything installed and put back together, I was so excited. I fooled around with the settings on the Eclipse unit. There are so many to work with. My favorite are the Crossovers. It takes the lows out of my interior speakers so they sound better. It greatly improved my car's audio sound. The 5 Volt preout going to the sub makes it hit hard.

I may not have the loudest or best sound system out there, but it is very nice. It is clear and can get pretty loud without distortion. This is one of the best $250 I've spent for my car in a while. I now actually have bass in the car. I would recommend the Eclipse series to anyone. Their prices are resonable and a high quality product. Now I know what everyone is talking about when they say go for Eclipse!

I 100% agree with Eclipse. I have an AVX model and I love it. It does instantly make your audio sound better. I only drove with it for about 2 months and never even messed with the crossovers and what not so I can't wait to get back into the car and do that but not until I get new speakers anyway.

I got to call Circuit City to see if they have the AUX Adapter instock, so I can hook my PS2 audio into it.

im gettign it installed for 209 from the don on the big org. no i havent got my rainbows yet but im pumped about them. once i get them in the mail im going to take a lil trip to dons shop and get some goodies installed.
i also have a line on a arc1440 (i think) 4 channel to push my interiors so i think im trying to get my hands on that too. if not dons got an amp for me so the rainbows can scream.
