[Sakura Robles]

Sakura just stared at Owen the entire time. She could not believe what she was hearing. She couldn't believe that Owen was that cold hearted to spill everything out right in front of her new boyfriend. She could NOT believe what was happening right now.

Aaron had acted so calmly too. She couldn't believe that either and then Owen had to get in the way and be even more harsh. He had to be drunk...he just had to be.

Tears were forming in Sakura's eyes. She had never been angrier in her entire life and then her body took control. She brought her hand back and slapped Owen as hard as she ever had slapped someone, across the cheek in one swift motion. She knew it had to have stung...her hand was stinging herself.

Sakura looked up at Owen with tear stained eyes.

"HOW DARE YOU?" she said harshly at him, but not loudly. She didn't want to cause a comotion.

"How dare you lie...how dare you be the biggest asshole..." she said and she had so much more to say.

"Of course I didn't love you, Owen...how could I love a cheating coward? how could i love someone who i thought i could...and then he had to ruin it by screwing around with a GUY!...how could i ever love someone who couldn't wait for me...who couldn't be patient and wait till I said it...you are a selfish bastard who only thinks about himself and you just couldn't wait because you are a selfish fucking bastard...that's what you are Owen. only a selfish bastard would use the excuse of a fucking miscarraige against me....and only a selfish bastard would use the excuse of a supposed near engagement against me too...you and i both know you were too much of a coward to EVER ask me to marry you...god damnit Owen...I was there FOR YOU WHEN YOU FUCKING CAME OUT TO YOUR PARENTS!!! I was there for you with them...I WAS CONVINCING YOUR FATHER TO FORGIVE YOU, OWEN!...." Sakura said crying now and shaking her head.

"you were just too fucking selfish to wait...because all you do is care about yourself....if you would have just waited instead of thrown me away....because don't you remember...YOU BROKE UP WITH ME OWEN...you broke it off with MEEE...and you threw me away like I was NOTHING to you....if you REALLY loved me, you would ahve waited so don't you fucking dare try to use those things against me, in front of Aaron like I'm sort of cheap hooker who has no feelings...you are a selfish, selfish person Owen....so go fuck yourself for using that shit against me...you had no fucking right..." Sakura said, finally finished and still totally unstable, crying silently in front of both of them. Sakura opened the door gently and left Starbucks, walking a little ways down the street and covering her face with her hands. She didn't know what to do now...

Aaron looked at the boy in front of him, growing angrier. Aaron hardly ever got angry. But the guy was pretty much looking down on him. Aaron wasn't a stranger to the world of dating. He knew very well what losing those you loved was like. He knew all about it, and the fact that he was being so rude and obnoxious wouldn't stand. Not only was he getting Aaron angry, he was hurting Sakura.

"For one, we've been on one date, I think Sakura and I are in agreement that we aren't jumping in to anything too quickly. I certainly haven't been seduced, I just happen to have a conscience. And I care for Sakura, sue me, but I do. Just because I do doesn't mean that I'm you. She happens to have a mind of her own, and she can make her own decisions as to who she drops on their ass. And if that is honestly what she did to you, well, I'm sorry, but I can kind of see why."

Aaron narrowed his hazel eyes. "Don't lecture me on love."he said. "And don't talk to her like that." Aaron's first love, his only love, really, had died. He hadn't told anyone but his parents and Ray, and he didn't need this guy to tell him what it was like. To Aaron, love could be fickle. His love had died. People could fall in and out of love, and therefore, it wasn't a defined thing. It could change. And while sometimes it was so strong that it couldn't change, often times it was not that easy. That was how Aaron saw it.

Aaron looked at Sakura as she had her outburst. For god's sake, what an asshole. Didn't he get that he had hurt her. So she didn't love him...Painful, but Sakura had been given pain too, and Aaron didn't like that Owen had done this.

Aaron watched the golden blond head exit the doors and he looked up at Owen. "Look,"Aaron sighed. "I don't think you can see this... but... just because she didn't love you back... that doesn't mean that her heart wasn't broken too. So since you obviously know how it feels to be in pain, maybe you should be a little bit more sympathetic."Aaron said.

With that, he walked out the door after Sakura without bothering to hear Owen's response. He ran after his girlfriend, catching up with her in time to stop her, wrapping her in a tight embrace. This would be okay. Aaron was sure of it.

Sakura cried silently in her hands. She had never had an argument so early in the morning and so much emotion occur within her. She just couldn't believe this had to happen now...she wished it wouldn't have.

Sakura bit her lip and began to walk away again but felt a familiar pair of arms turn her around and put her in a warm embrace as she silently cried. Sakura cried into Aaron's chest gently and sniffled, burying her face in his chest.

Sakura finally looked up at him with her tear stained eyes and sniffled once more.

"I wanna go home..." she said gently, before looking through the window and took one last glance of Owen. He had the same exact look she had on her face. Full of anger and sadness...and unforgiveness. This would NEVER be resolved.

Sakura turned around and began walking, a bit quickly home...she didn't know if she would EVER talk to Owen again but she couldn't care anymore. They'd never forgive each other and she had to realize it.

Aaron wasn't about to ask her any questions. She had been pregnant... or carried a child... that was huge. But he wasn't going to bring it up. Not right now. Maybe they'd talk about things later, but he didn't expect anything from her.

Aaron looked up to see Owen through the window. He gave him a sympathetic smile. Aaron wasn't angry with Owen. Dissapointed that alll of this had happened, that Sakura was so upset, but he didn't hate Owen for anything. Aaron wasn't one to hate that easily.

Aaron smiled gently at her and sweetly kissed the top of her head. "Of course. Let's go."he smiled gently, hugging her close to hom as they began to walk back to the school.

Aaron hugged her close and didn't look back to see the sadness on Owen's face that rivaled the sadness that was on Sakura's face. On their first date, both Aaron and Sakura had managed to have a meltdown. Perhaps it was better to get all the messiness out of the way now.

Aaron gently wiped tears from her cheeks. "Everything will work out."he whispered gently.

Sakura had stopped crying but the tear hadn't stopped escaping her eyes. Aaron continued to hold onto Sakura's body tightly and she nuzzled into his, as they continued to walk back to the dorms. She just needed to be as far away from Owen as possible.

Sakura nodded at Aaron's reassuring words but she wasn't in such a good mood yet, despite Aaron's helpings towards her. He was being surprisingly supportive.

After a few minutes of just walking in silence, they had reached the dorms and walked upstairs to her dorm, she unlocked the door, and they both went in, still in silence.

Sakura had stopped crying now, her cheeks more tear stained than anything else, as she was now in a terrible mood and didn't want Aaron to witness what had gone on between them and what usually did; fighting.

Sakura threw her stuff onto the kitchen table and immediately sat on the bed, bending forward, digging her face into it, as if embarrassed to look at him. She didn't want Aaron's thoughts of her to be changed because of something Owen had said or something she said. She wanted Aaron to see her the same way so badly.

Aaron glanced back at the Starbucks, Owen still in the window. He bit his lip, and walked her back to her dorm. They walked in silence, tears still running down Sakura's cheeks. Aaron just held her in his arms, letting her cry in to his chest. He smiled gently, every once in a while leading her around a corner and kissing the top of her head sweetly.

Aaron wasn't mad or anything. Everyone had their pasts, something they were ashamed of... and she did too. It was more real that way. Aaron wasn't someone who wanted a child (not right now, anyway), but just because she had been pregnant before didn't lessen his opinion of her.

Aaron walked with her up the stairs and she unlocked the door. He stepped in after her, breathing inwardly. He closed the door behind them, and looked at her.

Aaron surveyed her. She had stopped crying, but her eyes were reddish and her cheeks were covered in dried up tears. No longer was that happy shine in her eyes. He bit his lip, locking eyes with her before moving closer.

She immersed herself in the table. He shook his head and sat down next to her, resting a hand on her back. "Hey..."he said gently. He gently tilted her chin up to face him, a gentle understanding smile gracing his face. "It's alright..."he told her. Aaron didn't look at her differently. Aaron had no changed opinions. If anything, he was glad to know more about her.

Sakura looked up as Aaron had made her do so and she just listened to him. It wasn't okay...it wasn't going to be alright...not to her. She thought Owen was out of her life forever. She thought she'd never see him again and she wanted to stop thinking about their relationship. It wasn't the fact that she still had feelings for him...but the fact that she didn't want to have to think about the ugliness of their relationship anymore. They had such a traumatic relationship with each other..

Sakura shook her head.

"No it's not..." she said gently getting up and going towards the bathroom door.

"If only you knew...but you don't..." she said as she went into the bathroom and closed the door. She washed her face off in the sink and sighed heavily. She wanted to tell Aaron what went on in their relationship, how it was full of such passion and anger. How everytime they got angry at each other, they'd end up ripping each others clothes off and have the roughest sex full of lust and pleasure. It was good at the time, but then thinking back on it for her, she just realized how cheap and gross it made her feel.

Sakura sighed and wiped her face off with a towel. She went towards the door and opened it, letting herelf out and leaning against the wall, looking at him.

"He cheated on me, you know...with my friend...a guy...at a dance..." she said with a blank look on her face.

"It's not okay...because...I look back on it and now I just....feel so cheap and taken advantage of...and I can't....I can't..." she said pausing a minute to compose her thoughts of what she really wanted to say.

"...I can't...forgive him."

Sakura had finally said it. She didn't hate Owen, she didn't dislike Owen...it was the fact taht he hurt her so much, she couldn't be around him and couldn't forgive him EVER for what he did to her, which was probably why she couldn't love him either.

Aaron stood up as she did, but did not follow her towards the door. Space was important too. He sighed as she closed the door and he rubbed his eyes. "But I don't..."he repeated faintly, watching the closed door for a moment. Aaron sat there and thought. Thought about how it had taken years to get over his ex-girlfriend's death. He couldn't even be sure he was over it now. It was too hard to be... He could count thirty things he could have done differently, and maybe she would have been there with him today. If it had taken him so long to get over losing someone, he could only imagine it would take her the same time, and maybe what she needed was someone to help her through things. He would be there for her, of course.

Aaron breathed in, pushing in the two seats and tracing the line of his stomach for a moment. Normally he would solve his tiredness with a long and lengthy run, but he wasn't about to do that. Not right now. He side, shaking his head of the muck that was building up inside of it. His stomach was flat, muscular even. He had nothing to worry about, but at the same time, he did...

Aaron looked up at her as she exited the bathroom, leaning against the wall. He moved towards her a step and nodded. Glancing at the ground and then at her he looked at her with an affirmative response. "Yeah... I got that bit..."he said, scratching the back of his head and breathing inwardly. "That was shitty of him to do..."he murmured

Aaron walked to her with a soft smile. "You have no reason to feel bad about yourself. You didn't do anything wrong..."Aaron told her. "Cheating is bad... what he did was bad... you reallly can't be expected to forgive him. But I'm sure, in time, you'll reconsider, and maybe eventally you guys will be friends."

Aaron smiled gently at her. "If it is any consolation to you... this doesn't change things between you and me."he promised her.

[Sakura Robles]

Sakura nodded and scoffed.

"Yeah...you got that right...." she said thinking about the day he told her. How she was going home to meet his family and he told her right before they left, trying to cover the hickey he got from the incident with makeup. How she punched Jack too for betraying her trust...

Sakura shook her head.

"No...I hold grudges...I don't trust easily...and once you betray the trust, you're dead to me..." she said gently looking down at her feet, shuffling them around a bit. It was true. She thought she was going to forgive Owen and told him she did, but deep inside, she knew the relationship was going to end...how could Owen have expected her to love him if he cheated on her with her own friend?

The first positive thing Sakura heard that night was the fact that Aaron's opinion of her didn't change. For some reason, she REALLY cared what he thought...of her...her lifestyle...everything that included HER. She didn't want him to think she was a whore or something....though people thought she was...she didn't want AARON to think so..

Sakura smiled gently and nodded.

"Good..." she got out in a short whisper.

[Aaron Czuchry]

Aaron smiled gently at her. "Hey, he didn't mean to run in to you at Starbucks..."he murmured. "I know that you're unhappy with him... but there's nothing to get worked up over. You've obviously already had this fight before... why bother repeating it?"Aaron said gently.

Aaron blinked. Note to self: Don't betray Sakura's trust. "Well, maybe it would be better to take a different approach."Aaron suggested. "Owen... he made a mistake. A huge mistake... but, you obviously learned a lot from it,and obviously he did. I think... I think part of growing up is having your heart broken."he said honestly. "And I also thinkpart of growing up...is learning to forgive."

Aaron smiled gently. He tilted her chin up gently and kissed her lips. "Whatever happened between you and Owen... it doesn't matter to me... I want for you whatever makes you happy."he said. "I just worry that being on bad terms with Owen for the rest of your life is the wrong way to make you happy..."he explained.

[Sakura Robles]

Sakura looked at Aaron in surprise.

"Aaron...how can you say he learned from it?" she asked, incredibly curious.

"I sat there...not wanting to run into him but I did...I tried to be civil...I asked him how he was...and then he lashes out at me...telling you what happened between us when it wasn't ANY of your business....not yet anyways....and he still has no idea he did anything wrong....he thinks tis ALL my fault and don't tell me he doesn't because he does...he hasn't learned ANYTHING and taht' why I'm so mad...because I have learned a thing or two whether anyone can see it or not..."

Sakura sighed.

"Owen's not a part of my life anymore...not everyone can be friends...not everyone can be civil...you have to understand that too...if you really knew what happened...if you were there when it all happened...i know for a fact you'd think and feel so differently..." she said shaking her head gently.

Sakura was just sick of people acting as if they knew what was going on. She wasn't mad at Aaron...she just wanted him to know at least part of what happened...

"I'm sorry...I don't want to talk about it anymore..." she said going past him into the kitchen and looking in the fridge for something to drink, when in reality she was just thinking and looking.

"Because people can learn from anything, Sakura. Have you ever thought that maybe it hurt to see you with another guy? I wasn't there when this happened... but you didn't love him back, and that must have hurt, and it probably brought back all of that pain when he saw me with you."Aaron pointed out. "Cheating on you was wrong of him, yes, but honestly, I think he regrets it... I mean, you must have seen the look in his eyes."Aaron murmured. "I'm not saying that anything he did then or today was right, but I do think he's learned. He might still be bitter, but that doesn't mean he hasn't learned. He's made this next relationship of his work, afterall..."

"Call me overly-optimistic but I think anyone can be friends if they try hard enough."Aaron shrugged. "I know I wasn't there, and I'm building purely off of what I know... but you two were close and it's sad that neither of you think it can work out, because maybe if both of you put the past behind you, you could at least be civil." Aaron thought that even when people could break up, they could still be friends. He was unique, though. Most people wouldn't agree. "I'm sure Owen would like to be on good terms with you before he graduates, but first, you should probably get yourself feeling like that's possible..."

Aaron glanced at the ground. "I'm here for you if you ever want to talk."Aaron said, leaning against the wall and watching her. He didn't like seeing this, but there really wasn't much he could do. It was Sakura's battle to fight.

Sakura closed the fridge door and turned around, crossing her arms.

"You are incredibly optimistic aren't you?" she asked, furrowing her brow at him.

"It's realy annoying...." she said smirking a little, leaning back against the kitchen counter. Sakura was definitely not an optimist and the fact that Aaron was...well...it could definitely clash at times and it really annoyed her...but it definitely exhilirated her. The fact that he was optimistic was incredibly refreshing, eeven though it annoyed it.

It didn't occur until then on how opposite they actually were. It was probably a good thing though....the reason why her and Owen fought all the time was because they were exactly the same...both incredibly stubborn.

Sakura waved it all off.

"I don't want to talk about Owen anymore..." she said waving her hand and sighing, looking the fridge again.

"I'm hungry...I'm going to make something, do you want anything?" she asked trying to change the subject but it was also because she was hungry.

[Aaron Czuchry]

Aaron laughed. "Yeah, sometimes."he admitted, walking towards her. He had a diesease, he wasn't optimistic about that aspect of his life. But everything else, well, yes, he was optimistic.

Aaron smiled. "Oh, so I'm annoying now?"he questioned teasingly. He leaned above her and gave her a kiss on the lips. "Hopefully not too annoying."he said. They could clash, he supposed, but that was a good thing. It was bad for people to be the same person. He liked that with Sakura, it wasn't like he was looking in to a mirror all the time.

The saying "Opposites attract" really applied to the two. Aaron liked that. He liked that she wasn't so much like him. It kept things interesting.

"Fair enough."he said, looking at her with smile. She'd talk about it when she wanted to, and he could only ask for that much.

Changing the subject... Aaron shook his head. "Nah, I'm not up for anything."he shrugged. "But I'll help you cook if you want."he offered.

Sakura smiled and giggled as Aaron gave her a kiss on the lips. She was feeling a lot better now though. She just didn't want to talk about the past that much...she had this whole philosophy about only dealing with the past when you're ready, living in the present, and only hoping for the future, not so much wondering what would happen.

Sakura sighed and closed the fridge door.

"I'm actually not in the mood to eat anymore either..." she said walking up to him and wrapping her arms around his neck.

"But I AM...in the mood for..." she said biting her lip and smiling, before reaching up and giving him a soft, yet passionate kiss on the lips. She loved kissing Aaron and being intimate with him. It was a change since he was always really gentle and sweet with her, and she never had that before. It was incredibly nice to her.
