OOC INFORMATIONName: CTAge: SixteenOther charcters you play: None on this boardCharacter Name: Talin BryarCharacter Age: SeventeenCharacter Grade: SeniorCharacter Personality: Talin is very outgoing, and doesn't think much of other people's opinions. If he doesn't like someone, he'll let them know. On the other end, if he likes you, he'll make sure you know. Being rejected is something he's terrified of. He'll usually make fun of people unintentionally, and not realize it until they're upset. But he can also be extremely nice and warm-hearted to people he cares about.
Being rude to some people causes problems for him every now and then. He'll get upset about someone being mean to him, when he did something to start it all anyways. Then again, he'll turn around and say something even worse to them. He doesn't really have very many morals.Character History: Growing up with four sisters was never easy. Especially being the only boy. Talin never got along with his sisters until the oldest moved to college. After that, he became close to the others. His parents were both lawyers, so they had a fairly generous supply of money. That also meant that they weren't home very often.
When his dad actually did come him, he'd be drunk out of his mind. Then he'd go into Talin's room and hit the boy. Not being one to hit back, he didn't do anything about it. He just assumed that it was something he'd done, and that he was being punished for it. He's had a few rough relationships in the past, and is scared to open up to people, in fear of getting hurt again.Anything else we should know: He's gay.secret word: musicalsample rpg: Raindrops splattered against the pavement, creating that wet-worm smell. They were coming down pretty hard, but it didn't bother the seventeen year old boy sitting on his front porch. Talin blinked away a couple of raindrops before looking up and down the street nervously. He'd been sitting out there for exactly fourteen minutes, he realized as he looked at his watch again. That meant he had one minute to get inside the house.
Or he could just leave, and avoid the whole scene, right? No. That would only make him more angry. Him meaning his father. Talin ran his hand through his wet hair and shook out some of the water. As he looked down the street once again, he saw the familiar pickup truck turn onto the street. Jumping up, he turned around and ran inside the house, slamming the door behind him. He sprinted down the stairs to his bedroom in the basement, almost tripping over his black kitten, Mojo. He'd gotten Mojo for his birthday two months earlier, from his father. It had been the only nice thing the boy could remember his father doing for him.
As he flopped onto his bed and grabbed a magazine, he heard the front door slam open. His father's footsteps above him caused him to shake with fear. "Talin? I know you're down there, Talin. Come upstairs," his father's drunken voice bellowed through the floorboards. He knew better than to sit around and wait for the man to get even more angry with him. That would only make things worse. To topi it off, he knew that his sisters weren't going to be home from the mall for another hour. Getting off of his bed, he crept silently up the stairs, wishing it were over already.Picture of Character:
