The Volturi are on the Hunt for a Vampire that insists on making Immortal Children as well as a Forbidden Coven compiled entirely of these children. The Dai Coven wish only to be left alone and rely on their individual abilities to stay away from the Volturi, who are focused more on finding their maker at the moment, who has an uncanny ability to stay just a step ahead of them, and Demetri.

Will this peaceful and trying Coven be able to find others who are willing to protect and stand up for them? Sienna, Bridget, Hilary and Eva hope to find just the right Coven in Forks after hearing about a stand the Cullen family made in Renesmee's behalf 15 years earlier. Will the Cullen's listen to these unlucky children? Will anyone else join to save them, Immortal Children whose existence is the one Rule that is so aweful to be broken?
