Rey is based loosely on the Mayan legend of the Hero Twins, and since twins come in pairs, I'm in need of this guy. These two are kindred spirits, in short, and their metaphysical bond is why Aurelio was drawn to Hart in the first place. As such, Deimos (the name is up to you, I just need something to call him), should be a current resident. That's my only true IC stipulation, beyond that, his makeup is entirely yours.
I see Deimos being more sinister than Aurelio, with a more cloaked and dark personality. Being a sort of yin and yang duo, he's the ice to Rey's fire...and he symbolizes the past. His abilities should be interpreted from a lunar and shadow base, so feel free to get creative. The way I see it, he has domain over the mind and the dead (in the myth, he traveled into the underworld and returned unscathed), using the belief that the moon makes you crazy as inspiration (i.e. LUNAcy). Or, if you are the type who appreciates symmetry, he might transform into a panther or manipulate water...the moon was the first waterbender after all *snicker*. Either way, together these two represent the passage of time, and are largely impartial to all earthly dramas. Neither good nor evil - merely balanced. And at the risk of sounding mawkishly asinine...they ~complete~ each other.
The playby is Russell Giardina, and I am rather partial to him. Rey is the hardened warrior, so Deimos needs a softer/more scholarly air about him, which Russell has. He also looks like someone you shouldn't trust. Lucho Jacob, however, also fits very well, so as long as you pick one of the two I'll be happy.

Martien is a canon here, and you can find more personal info about him in our canon list. He is the closest friend to my character, Declan Blackwell, which is surprising since the two seem so unalike at first glance. Whereas Declan is bold, reckless, hardheaded, and a bit self-absorbed, Martien is more timid, cautious, adaptive, and sensible. The dynamic works for them though, because Declan is constantly getting them into trouble and Martien somehow manages to get them out. One gets to experience amazing things he might not have otherwise known (because Declan takes his friends on a crazy ride), and the other gets a sturdy tether to reality and honest human interaction. I see Martien as the type of person with quiet strength, and with an eye for detail that lets him see the core of people. Because he's the loudest (and most idiotic at times), one might think Declan is also the bravest, which isn't the case.
He also has a canonical fascination with the school's groundskeeper (who isn't taken yet), which Declan does not approve of, for reasons we can plot out privately. Aside from his relationship with Declan and the unclaimed canon, there are many other characters for you to plot with...namely other sophomores (Grayson Mercer, Gael Alfonso, and Martien's roommate Dylan Morgan) who have formed a little Scooby Gang of their own. While the Upperclassmen are busy squabbling over politics, these boys are exploring the underbelly of St. Val...meeting all kinds of ghosts and ghouls along the way.
Anyway, I think that's everything, and you WON'T be disappointed if you take him up. He's a much desired character, and you will have many plotting opportunities. Oh, and the play by I used here is Charlie Alexander. He seems to have the sensitive pouty look going for him, which is perfect for the character. And he's completely adorable besides!
