Everything appeared to be going well for the Order, but everything quickly took a turn for the worse.... Dumbledore has been ousted from Hogwarts, and the Muggleborns have been forced to register with the Ministry. Minister Kirke has placed Bellatrix Black in charge of Hogwarts, and Dumbledore has been forced into hiding, to be arrested for hiding Muggleborns.
To save Muggleborns and those who support them, the Blackhorse Family has opened up their property to allow Dumbledore to teach, in secret, those that can no longer attend Hogwarts. A fair few are going with him, while the rest are forced to go back to Hogwarts, whether out of fear of the government, or loyalty to the Dark Lord.

Seraís mother had once said that if she didnít know any better be sure that the person who took the greatest joy in her existence was the devil himself. Sure she looked like her parents but she seemed to be nothing like them, if anything she was very much her Grandmotherís, well except for in fashion sense. If her grandmother could have seen her at that moment the old lady would have killed her, and then brought her back to life before helping the entire outfit to self-destruct. The pants were her favorite pair and showed all the love that had gone into them meant that they were very holey and the shirt was one for her favorite muggle band meaning she had the word Sex going across the front of her chest in large letters.

It was the weekend and she really just wanted to have some fun, she had finished all her homework and reading for the next week on Friday evening. Her eyes flashed as she looked down from the top of the bleachers, the Broomstick that her father had given her at the end of summer clutched firmly in her right hand. Her lips parted in a smile that bordered on pure insanity as she stood up on the railing at the back of the bleachers, balancing until it was the right moment to jump. She wasnít actually suicidal she just wanted to see if she could mount her broomstick during a freefall and keep from hitting the ground. And since this broom handled a lot better than her old one had she thought that she might actually be able to make it this time.

It wasnít like this was completely random either, she was trying to be the best that she could be and there were plenty of times in the past where she had ended up freefalling and with practice it meant that next time she accidentally knocked into someone and ended up getting pushed off her broom she would have a better chance of getting back up again. Getting knocked off her broom was a side effect of what her head of house called suicidal playing.

It was another nice day out, not too cold, just slightly warm enough to get away with just a t-shirt, that is, if you could withstand some chills here and there. Ulrick was used to the cold, he was Irish after all. Now, Ulrick liked being inside and all, he enjoyed being around other people, but from time to time, he needed to escape and just be alone. Now, Ulrick had started to get along with his new roommate, AJ was his name, he seemed like an alright kid. Though, to Ulrick, he just seemed almost too sucked up into his studies for his own good. Ulrick was a bit of a procrastinator at times, he didn't do his work right away and when he did do it, it was done pretty well, but he didn't put his full effort into things. Of course, that was just academics, when it came to relationships with girls or with any of his friends, he was always in it one hundred percent. He was known to be a very dependable friend, a friend that was always there with a helping hand or a strong shoulder that you could lean on, with words of wisdom or just an ear to listen. Of course, his parents couldn't possibly understand why their son couldn't just apply himself to things and do the best that he could. He was lagging in his scores and his professors were breathing down his neck now, but with his charming smile and witty words he was able to fend them off and turn in assignments later than he was supposed to and get minimal points taken off. He was one crafty boy, that was for sure.

To get away from everyone else, to make sure he disappeared from from the face of the planet, he had to go to some place where no one would think he would be. That was the Quidditch pitch. People knew that he didn't really like the sport, he was more of a rugby man, but still, he could admire certain aspects of the sport. But the whole thought of riding on a broom with the shaft going right up against your crotch was not a very appealing thing for Ulrick. Forget that you had a cup on or you could charm your broom or how you could sit, there was always that chance and Ulrick wasn't about to take that chance, not with his pride at stake. So, he crept up into the stands, finding a nice spot where he was secluded and he could see everything around him and he was sure no one could spot him. For a moment, he just sat there, basking in the silence and he closed his eyes, a small smile gracing his lips. "Thank god," He groaned and let his head fall back gently against the wooden wall behind him, a small thunk emitting from the collision. It was so peaceful there, so quiet and he just basked in it for a moment, enjoying it. It was moments like this that made him be grateful of the life he had. It wasn't too fast and it wasn't too slow, and he could take a break from it when he wanted, like right now. He knew he wouldn't be able to survive in a kind of life that involved him constantly moving, constantly doing something. He needed time to himself and time to think, and he was getting it right now. This was much needed Ulrick time and he knew he was lucky to get it.

However, it didn't last for long. Out of the corner of his eyes, he spotted a girl standing up on he edge of the railing. The hell was she doing up there? Ulrick's brow furrowed and he sat up a bit and tried to get a better look at her, but before he could, she just fell off. She simply leaned forward and plunged. "Hey!" Ulrick shouted and shot up and took off, leaping over the benches as he headed towards where the girl had been. He didn't care if he was too late, he was still going to try. When he reached where she had been standing, he slammed into the railing and nearly toppled over, but his bright blue eyes scanned the ground for her. He didn't see a body, so where the hell was she? His eyes darted around, looking into the small little ditch that was at the edge of the pitch that lead into the lower tunnels under it. Nothing was there, and if she was, he couldn't see her. Ulrick lifted his head, his lips parted, his chest heaving from moving so fast. "Girl?" Ulrick called out, wondering if he'd get a response. Maybe she had pulled a Houdini or something, Ulrick certainly wasn't about to put it past anyone at this school, everyone had some kind of trick up their sleeve. He had noticed that people were acting weird lately what with the arranged marriages, which thankfully hadn't effected him, but why would anyone want to end their lives? Was it even an attempt? No, it couldn't be, she must've had some sort of reason to be up there, right? "Hello?" He asked, real classic of him, very typical, but what could he really say? "I hope you didn't just try to kill yourself"? No, that was just weird and Ulrick wasn't about to look like more of an idiot than he could've possibly looked already.

The feeling of falling was epic, the wind around her messed up her hair an event that would have been horrible in anything non sports related situation but at least it could always be fixed later. Sera managed to get on to her broom and up only centimeters before hitting the ground, and receiving yet another broken bone. Avoiding a trip to the infirmary was always a good thing, but she didnít mind it so much here. If she had been going to a muggle school she would have spent pretty much her entire school existence with something in a cast, magic made everything so much better. She shot herself out under the bleachers and into the air on the other side before allowing herself to hover as the adrenalin pumped through her veins. That was so much fun, she had to remind herself though that this year it would be her father and by extension her Dragon of a grandmother and not the lovable flake that had been her mother getting the owl if she did anything too stupid. Yeah definitely not something she wanted to deal with, she had avoided any visitations so far and wanted to be able to keep it that way.

And then when she looked over at the bleachers she saw a boy there looking as though he had expected to see her body. Really did anyone think she was actually that dumb, well then again she was pretty sure that most anyone who had seen her play had thought she was that dumb at one point or another, just none of them would ever dream that she would actually kill herself, Sera loved living and playing far too much for that. Sera smiled slightly wondering if he had recognized her but when he called out girl instead of her name that idea was totally slashed to pieces. She flew up behind him slowly and smiled slightly, ĒReally Lyons, Iím right here so stop acting like an idiot.Ē he was from her house, even from the same year as her, though the last part didnít matter so much. Sera made a point of knowing every person in her house. It was strange because if anyone else had hinted that someone in her house was an idiot she would have become very nasty but as it was there was no one else here, and she was smiling so it wasnít like she was being mean or anything like that.

If Sera had been interested in guys she would have thought that Ulrick was cute and even with her decision that dating was a waste of time she could appreciate the fact that he was rather good looking. ďYou know I do have a name, you donít need to just refer to me by my sex.Ē She had a tendency of being blunt that didnít always work in her favor. She jumped off her broom and landed beside him her eyes sparkling as she placed the broom down on the bleachers beside her and ran a hand through her hair. Her hair had to be the one part of her appearance that she actually cared about or really spent any time on. She didnít enjoy having it messed up, though when she was doing sports or things like that she rarely noticed itís condition. Sera at least made sure that it was out of her face, next time she would just have to remember to tie it up. There would be a next time of course, there would probably be lots of next times.

Ulrick did his best to try and not act like he was scared by hearing someone's voice behind him. He just froze up for a split second before his cool washed over him and he acted like she hadn't made his heart jump. He turned slowly and let his eyes fall upon Sera, a fairly well known girl in his house. Now, he hadn't really sat down too many times with her to get to know her, but he knew her name and that she did love Quidditch, seeing as she was on the team and all. She was smart, he had heard her answer a few questions here and there in class, but beyond what he knew of her in reputation, he didn't know much about her. Maybe now was his chance to get to know her. He smirked a bit at her comment and turned to face her, leaning his arm on the railing, his eyes settling on hers. "Had I recognized you I would've called you by your name." He said with a little smile on his face. It had been hard to see her face, let alone mark who she was. Plus, it had just been a split second that he had seen her, so her assuming that he'd know right off the bat who she was was a bit far fetched. Still, he played along and kept his heart light. There had to be something to this girl, something that could get her to smile because of him, not for manners or for pity, he knew that there was something, he just had to find out what. "I'm sorry Sera," He gave her another smile as she fixed her hair, tilting his head to the side a bit as he looked at her.

She certainly was beautiful, and he did admire that about her, she did seem to take great care of herself. Plus, judging from her shirt, she had a great taste in music. At last, he had found some common ground with her. Music was something he could talk about for hours. Now, he wasn't the most musically apt person alive, but he knew how to listen and it was a love of his. "Sex Pistols?" He asked, gesturing towards her shirt, smirking a bit. Now, he liked them he admired their punk style, but he had to say there were better bands out there. "Good band, I didn't think you'd be the kind of person to be into them." And it was true, he hadn't taken her as that kind of person, but if she was that was cool too. What was she exactly then? some sort of rebel? Ah well, Ulrick figured that in due time, if given the chances, he'd find out what she was like. For now, he'd just talk and get to know her better. He looked down at her broom for a second and looked back at her, lifting his eyebrow a bit. "So do you always take a leap of faith off the quidditch stands?" He asked, smiling a bit as he did. Sure he knew some people were in love with the sport, passionate about it and all, but would they seriously sacrifice their lives for it? Ulrick could see the benefits of suicidal playing and all that, but what was the risk? Oh yeah, dying.

He lifted himself up onto the railing and grabbed it gently with his large, calloused hands and looked down at Sera, still trying to figure her out in his mind. He pursed his lips and looked up at the sky, letting out a soft sigh as he felt a nice, gentle breeze push past them. "Other than leaping off of railings and listening to anarchist bands, what else do you like to do?" It was an easy topic to start off with, their likes could be similar or not, but still, Ulrick didn't mind getting to know someone. Most people that knew him, or of him, knew that Ulrick was a very laid back guy, a funny kid that had a good heart. Most people could get along with him, that is, so long as they didn't mind the fact that he was a half blood and all of that. It often ticked him off that when he met someone and got along with them, they would simple start to hate him due to his blood status. It wasn't fair, and if that whole mentality was thrown out of the window, things would be better, hopefully.
