awww how cute are they! I've always been tempted by them, must be the blue eyes and akitas too after spending loads of time with an akita that lived on the farm when I was a kid. I do bikejor with Flekk now too so would be a great match for that but sooooooo many people have told me they aren't great with small animals.

I also Love akitas but they arnt good with other dogs if you have alot of other dogs same with Malamutes, thats why we decided on huskys as they are great pack dogs love to be with others.

No they arnt great with small animals like rabbits ect as prey, however I have friends that live life happy with sibes and cats. nailbiting However my best friend owns a farm and has 7 huskys and a sheep (Lamie, who also lives with the huskys shes amazing,

However I wouldnt trust mine with any small animals. nailbiting

My dad has just told me that although Heidi, the akita I knew was always at the farm, she didn't actually live on the farm, she was the farmers son-in-law's dog but he worked at the farm and she went with him. She mixed with the collies fine but lived at home alone.

I've got cats in the house, plus other small animals about so expect they'd turn into bite size snacks nailbiting

A Sibe was my chosen breed before I got the Border Collies.
