Scooby has yet again decided that he doesn't want to eat dog biscuits or meat so i am looking for some advice on raw feeding. I tried him on some raw minced beef this morning and he really enjoyed it.
so here are my questions: 1. How much do i need to feed him? 2. How many times a day? 3. What kind of food can i give him? I don't know if there's anything else that i need to ask. Thank you in advance Lisa & Scooby waggingd |

The guide is 2 - 5 % of bodyweight, but if they're putting weight on give a bit less, if they're loosing weight add a bit, every dog is different. Mine get about 2.5% of their bodyweight.
I feed my dogs twice a day in the morning they get a holistic biscuit with veggies and in the evening they get the raw meat. I feed mine, minced chicken, turkey, lamb, beef and tripe, then they also have chicken wings, carcasses, whole eggs, liver and lambs hearts. There is a really good yahoo group called britbarf that's really worth joining. |
