Description: Hope Rescue

Lily is currently being fostered with one of experienced fosterers and has been assessed as needing a "job" She is young and full of character and very clever but without a job to do will be trouble  so we are looking for an agility, flyball etc type home for her. She is cute so will generate interest so we are trying to place her ads in places that will hopefully generate the right interest for her. Apologises if she shouldnt be here.

With no further ado I introduce ... Lily

Lily is a 15 week old Terrier Pup and is currently on foster in Faringdon, Oxfordshire.

The Lily Fact File
Dog status: Loves other dogs but needs to learn the feeling is not always mutual!
Cat status: has yet to be cat tested. May be workable due to her young age with careful introductions.
Child status: Good but would need gto be rehomed with children aged 8 years plus due to mouthing
House training: Coming along nicely for her age
Home alone: Can be left for short periods but we would like a home where someone is around for the best part of the day due to her young age and natural need for companionship
Basic training: Fantastic recall, has learnt her name, sit and to give eye contact and focus.

Slippers quake under the coffee table.........skirting boards fear for their lives.............tennis balls roll away to hide under the bushes............watch out, Lily's about!

Lily is a little pocket rocket. She adores life and finds the world an exciting and interesting place to be explored at top speed! Her enthusiasm and lust for life is infectious and she will make the most wonderful, comical companion to brighten your day.

Lily is living in foster care with other dogs and is a very happy go lucky member of the pack. She loves to play and is having to learn some canine manners about when play is acceptable and when it is unwanted. She is a confident and well socialised puppy who is not phased by dog se meets out on walks.
Lily has not been seen with cats or small furries. As a terrier she could have a stronger tendency towards chasing, however, she is young enough to learn to live with cats. Introductions would have to be careful and training methods would need to be positive and hands off.

Lily's house training is coming along nicely for her age but she will need a little help. She can be left for short periods, however, due to her young age we would like a home where someone is around for the best part of the day.

Lily is looking for a new home who have previously owned dogs and preferably terriers. She is an active and busy dog who could excel at any training discipline once she is old enough. Agility, flyball, obedience would all be right up her street. She is a clever girl motivated by food and toys.
Lily will not be rehomed with children under the age of 8. She does mouth and play bite and children she lives with need to be old enough to understand how to handle this and continue to provide her with feedback on how to use her jaws appropriately so that she learns bite inhibition.

All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family. Hope Rescue rehomes throughout the UK. A Pre-Home Interest Form can be downloaded from www.hoperescue.org.uk and should be returned to dogs@hoperescue.org.uk
