Delighted to see that the Beeb ran another One Man and His Dog this Christmas. I have not seen the viewing figures but I bet they are high again. Not convinced that Kate H is the best presenter as I find her a bit too fluffy but she is popular. Good to see the young handlers do so well and hard luck England, you were nearly there!

Yes it was very good to watch. Shame it wasnt advertised better as I missed the first bit.

The dogs enjoyed it too

My Tv no longer works and I don't usually care because I don't watch it but that does mean the very odd programme that I do like, such as this, has to be missed.:(

I watched it on the iPlayer. Thoroughly enjoyed it... Especially the Junior handlers, he girl representing England I thought was especially nice :)

Yeah, I never think of iPlayer...despite the fact that I watched the last ones on that:D

It was Croppers niece that won the junior handlers last time round wasn't it?

Chloe Cropper I think.

I do watch the OMAHD shows that are generally broadcast over the Christmas period, but don't enjoy them half as much as the old series with Eric Halsall and Phil Drabble.

For anyone who enjoys watching trialling on TV, BBC Alba (sky 168) is showing Farpaisean Chon-Chaorach every Tuesday night at 9pm (which is repeated on Sundays at the same time I think).
