Fairy Creation
Rather than manipulate things such as light and sound, Leighton creates small entities that she calls "Fairies" from them. They are completely sentient beings that possess power from what they were created of. However sentient, they are still bound to Leigh's will and can do whatever she tasked them to do. If a fairy is killed (or Leighton commands) they will burst, releasing their energy in a violent explosion. This is potentially damaging to those around it, including Leighton.

history: Leighton was born to a rather wealthy family. Her father was a professor and both her father and mother had inherited money. Leigh spent her life pampered by her meta parents, who desperately tried to coax out her powers. Her aura was strong as well as her ties to the environment, but no abilities seemed to surface. Her tenth birthday, is a moment that Leigh looks back on in times of sadness. This birthday did not have a lavish party with many guests. No, it was her mother, her father, Leigh herself, and a small cake. This closeness meant true warmth to Leigh.
When she was 13 years old, she was more than ready to leave to BTA in a year, where perhaps her powers would surface. However, she was kidnapped by someone looking to ransom her back to her wealthy parents. In the trunk of a car heading far out of London, Leighton first discovered the fairies, created from a small amount of light beaming in from a hole in the old vehicle. Upon learning to create these fairies, her sense of loneliness was almost soothed, and she used her powers to help her escape. Though she eventually made it back to her parents, the reunion was short lived. She was fourteen by then, and her parents were strongly advised to send her to BTA the next day.
Although her kidnapping was relatively short, the feeling of being alone and taken from her sheltered life had a strong effect on her emotions. She now is working on mastering her abilities so she can return home and feel closer to her family.
