The Kadricks can trace their ancestry back to Altantian Royalty. The descendants of Demeter and Manannán mac Lir, through their only surviving daughter Danu (Persephone supposedly died on Atlantis, though there are rumors she offered herself to Hades). Danu would go on to help found the meta academy in Raschland.

Danu's descendant either inherit her earth powers or her sister's elemental abilities. The Kadricks are naturals with magic and have enjoyed membership in the Coven for 13,000 years.

The Kadricks use equal primogeniture to determine inheritance. Meaning the firstborn regardless of gender will become the head of the family.

History: Manannán was the firstborn son to two sea gods. He was born and raised in Albion, the land of the ancient Celtic metas where his family had ruled for nearly a 1000 years when he was wedded to an Atlantian princess. Although a foreigner, Manannán was crowned King of Europa and took the family name of his wife’s to put their subjects at ease. Manannán and Demeter enjoyed a happy marriage and she would bless him with two beautiful girls. Manannán had had plans to marry Persphone to a son of Hades and Danu was to be married to a nobleman from his homeland. But he would not see the day his daughters were married happily because war broke out and Persphone had chosen to fight against them. In the end, after Manannán ensured the safety of his daughter, Danu, he died with his wife as Atlantis sank.

History: Temperance is the eldest child of Constance and Theon Kadrick, along with her twin, Felicity. During one of her summers aboard, Temperance would happen across a meta not much younger than herself. The meta in question was Devon Marlowe. She was in Dublin following up on a mission.
