I will be adding older entries as I find them. But for now, for security purposes I start with my most recent pontifications.

The Origins of Metas

If Natural Selection if the basis of all micro-evolution, and marco-evolution is just micro-evolution over millions of years, then one can logically deduce that the first Metas were humans with above average mental and physical abilities. Those abilities breed over time created your first race of superhumans, "Meta-Humans" as they are now called. The fact that many Elemental and Environmental Bloodlines have many of the same genetic markers as Mentalists only points to this being accurate. One gene is turned on, another off and presto: a Mentalist is born with the ability to only manipulate an element, the weather, etc. It didn't stop there either as Projectilists also share a common ancestry with Elemental and Environmental Bloodlines. But would further hypothesize that all transportation abilities stem from metas with super-reflexes that over time developed into superhuman speed or an environmentalist born with the ability to fold space i.e. teleport.

So what is the future of "Meta-Kind?" Perhaps a Chimera of sorts. A meta of multiple bloodlines with Onmi-Abilities. An Onmi-Meta that is all-knowing, all-seeing and all-powerful. I only pray that if such a meta was ever to be born that is at least neutral if not benevolent. Should one be born a villain, I shutter to think what kind of world such a god would remake in their image.
