R.I.P. Leslie Nielsen (1926 - 2010)

I will always remember him not for his comic roles but for the character he played in Forbidden Planet - one of my most favourite SciFi movies.

He was in Forbidden Planet wasn't he? Great classic sci fi movie..Course I will always remember his comedic performances in the Airplane and Naked Gun movies..

When they showed the clip of him in Forbidden Planet on TV yesterday, I hardly recognized him! He kinda had two separate careers, one as a serious leading man and the second as a comic actor. He was brilliant in both.

Airplane is still among my favorite comedies. It's a classic.

R.I.P. Leslie Neilsen. You will be missed.
