YAY I finally finally ordered my Babylon 5 DVDs from Amazon, seasons 1-5!! Been wanting them for a long time, I've only seen the first 3 seasons on Netflix..

I'm watching the football game. One son-in-law is a Raven's fan, the other son-in-law is a 49ers fan, but really I'm watching it for the Star Trek commercial which, I think, will be in the 2nd quarter. I guess I should be for the 49ers since I'm a Californian at heart, but not really.

I downloaded the Star Trek Into Darkness app on my new phone and have been scanning pics and trailers with my new phone.. Very cool.. Also entered their contest for the premiere..

Yeah, I just remarked to my husband that this is the only time I regret that I don't have a device that can download apps, based on the new Star Trek app.

The plan was to go see the new Star Trek today, but due to a minor medical emergency, it didn't happen.
So now we're shooting for Thursday. |

Boston Star Trek convention is soon, next weekend, and of course I caught myself a bad chest cold..  But I guess it could always be worse, I'll deal.. It's going to be a fun convention.. -------------------- |

Yeah, everything's ok. Just a minor scare involving low white blood cell count and an episode of vertigo which left him lying on the floor. You just can't take any chances when you live with a transplant patient.  I've really avoided everything anybody's said about the movie. I want to judge it on my own. I'm fairly certain I'll like it. I hope you feel better by convention time! Just tough it out and have fun!! |
