I checked out the furom archives and found an interesting post. It said that besides Knight you had a few other comic ideas in mind. Do tell.

What!? I don't remember saying that! You must've made that up!

I've got lots of ideas. Most of the ones I did back then, are ones where I only finished like the first part of the story. I was kinda wanting to quickly finish them up and then post them on my site. I also had a couple of writers working for me and they did great work. One was really good! I'm talking Mark Millar good! I wonder what happend to that guy? I don't remember his name off hand. But, you'll probably never see that story, because the artist I hired did some pretty shotty work. His samples were good, but when it came to the actual work, it was like he was a different artist. Then I found out that he was swiping Capullo's stuff, from Spawn, for his Batman submission sample, he sent me. That story he worked on was called The Spy, which I pretty much turned into They & Them. The other one that I drew, was called The Project. That's more of a self contained story, so I may post that one. Even though I don't care for the title anymore. It was one of my more stupid ideas.

Another one was called US Soldier. I finished the first part, but never the second. But, I would like to quickly finish that one and post it as well. It will be interesting to see the difference in my artwork from then and now.

There's also one called the Defender. I hired an artist for that one and he finished it in like a week. No joke! It was pretty rough when he turned it in. I did my best to clean it up when I inked it. Again, he did some swiping of others work for some of the pages. Looking back, I should have been more stern and made him redo it, since I did pay for it. Kinda felt cheated a little bit. Who know's, I may post it when I get time. I just have to write the dialog for it.

I've got several strories and ideas that I want to pursue. I just don't have enough time to do them all. I've thought about hiring some artist to do some of these, but, past experiences with dealing with artist, kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. Who knows.

So Jacob in your sketchbook you had the monster story deal. What's that about? Or are you going to be mean and not tell us anything at all?

It's really just a short story that I was working on for my 2007 sketch book. But, with this other gig, I won't have time to finish it yet. But, I will someday. So, you'll just have to wait.
