Everything vs. Everything.

Hi all. I tryed this on another site once and it never got off the ground. so for kicks and giggles I'm gonna try again.

I happen to be a match up enthusiast, (I.E. I be (character X) could beat up (Character Y) in a fight.) And I have been told I'm exeptionaly good at making fair derisions based on the character in questions aperant abilities, skill, experiance, ect. So if anyone wants to post a possible match up for me to determine I would love to give it a try. Then we can diside if anyone agrees, disagrees, or wants to rip my head off and why. (mostly why you agree or disagree, the head riping off thing is a given).

Please no personal characters that you have created yourself.

If I don't know of, or anything about a character in the match up I will ether have to skip the match, or do some research. Depending on how lazy I feel.

Please do a short post for the match ups

Example:

Mario vs. Luigi.

Thats all thats needed.

Sephiroth vs. Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic the Hedgehog vs. Jigglypuff

Sonic the Heghog vs. Sephiroth.


Oh, oh man. I cringe at the unfairness of this match up.

Sonic is super fast, as we all know. He can out run just about anyone any day of the week even Sephiroth. but thats realy ware his advantages end. Sonics major atack, as of the most resent games, has been the homing atack. and that realy all he has. (unless you count super/hyper sonic but then you may as well count Mario in star form at all times as well.)

Sephiroth on the other hand is arguably the best swordsmen to ever be created. At the very least his is in the top 5. He has shown the ability to cause pain with a mear thought, and can cast devistating magical spells, summoning the very fires of the sun to smite his enemies, control a mind from half a world away, and on top of all that, is a tactical genius.

Sephiroth with his unequaled sword skills could easily deflect any attack sonic is capable of throwing at him and most likely counter it devastatingly without even trying. I.E. filet of hedghog.

Now assuming sonic didn't bite it before he realized he was out matched, he could easily run away. However sonic is the hero type and has a very inflated ego. So I would have to say he would most likely meet his end on the end of the Masamune or be incinerated by the Almighty Super nova.

Outcome: Sephiroth wins, no contest.

Pokemon are strange creatures in that, thay seem to lake the ability to DIE!
At least in the games. Usually they just "faint". So for this match up I'm going to assume that jugglypuff, being a living thing, does indeed have the ability to die, like any other living thing. (not that sonic would kill her, but it just helps with my thought proses.)

We already know the abilitys of sonic from the last match up, (sonic vs. Sephiroth) so lets take a look at the pink puffball in the other corner.

Now most pokemon evolve when thay reach a certain lv. But Jigglypuff need the help of a moon stone. So assuming the owner of this jigglypuff was retarded enouph not to evolve her, she could easaly be at max lv. (I think it was 99, but it been a while since I have picked up a Pokemon game.) Most of jigglypuffs atacks are physical slam type atacks, slam, body slam, double slap, just to name a few.

Now a lv 99 jigglypuff can slap fairly hard, and slam someone around with the best of them. but all of this would be useless againced sonic, because, well, she would have to catch him first. So while sonic is running circles around the puffball, she becomes angry and used the only atack that she has that could give sonic some trouble. Sing.

As some of you may recall, sing, in the Pokemon game, was a sleep attack. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. but for the sake of argument we'll say it works on sonic, who is busy laughing at jugglypuff to notice hes drifting off. So sonic falls asleep. Then what? Well then jiggly puff puts the smack down on sonic for oh, 3 seconds at best, at witch time sonic wakes up and pummels the little puff wad at super sonic speed.

Jigglypuff are ususaly not used in the Pokemon game for very long for several reasons. One of the biggest is, thay can't take a hit. Jigglypuffs have no hit points to speak of, so its safe to assume that shes not gona take much of a pounding. I think this is the part ware it says "Jigglypuff Faints."

Outcome: Sonic leaves with a badly bruised ego, Jigglypuff goes back into her poke' ball to cry.

Master Chief (Halo of your choice) vs. Solid Snake (Metal Gear of your choice).

Maxwell Smart vs. James Bond! You might be too young to remember the show "Get Smart" but it's great.

Ah the cliche gun man vs. gun man. Well lets take a look at our combatants.

Master chief is a super soldier from the future, armed with modern weapons. (we can fly faster than light speed but were still using bullets!?) With high grade impact absorbing armor, toped off with a nice scoop of energy shielding. Not only that but he has a kick ass attitude. (You know like all space marines are supost to have.)

Solid snake is a covert opps. agent armed with, well modern weapons. (Mostly), and a flack jacket (at best). And a kick ass attitude. Oh and that impossibly annoying phone thing that everyone feels obligated to bug him on every 5 seconds.

Because of Snakes stealth speacialty we have several Scenarios that could play out.

Stealth combat scenario 1:

Master Chief is minding his own business in the random battle bunker of your choice. Snake sneaks past the guards like he is so good at doing. And finds the heavily armored soldier that is his mark. He then starts to sneak up on said walking tank. Master chief sees the red mark on his motion sensor turns arownd and starts trying to turn Snake into a machine-gun sandwich. Snake tryes to retaliate by firing back but allas is no match for the Majinor Armor mark. 6. Snake is turned into swish cheese and the chief says some one liner that makes all the fan boys go ."O_o so awsome!"

Outcome: Mater chief wins.

Stealth Combat Scenario 2"

Snake is a bit more intelligent in this version ware he is not confronting the chief directly but has hunkered down on a hill with his favorite sniper rifle. He sees his mark off in the distance kicking the poor ass of some random alien insurgent an lines up a shot with Master chief's nogen. He pulls the trigger and imediatly goes "WTF!" His bullet is deflected by the armor's energy shield/armor. Master chief finds cover and waits for his shield to recharge. Snake, being a smart soldier, disides he is outmatched at the moment and runs away to figure out another way to beat the tank-man. Master chief comes back out to find the @22 hole that shot him and finds nothing.

Now some of you may say "But Nighfire! I've played halo and a head shot with a sniper rifle is an instant kill!" This is true, with a Burreta .50 caliber sniper rifle with armor pirecing rounds. The only rifle that master chief/anyone in the halo universe, uses. So snakes rifle is a good gun, but not for this mission.

Outcome: Draw.

Stealth combat Scenario 3

Snake is not playing games this time. Hes armed with his trusty rocket launcher. Same as before, chief in his sites, lines up the shot and boom! The chief is a messy stain on the battlefield and snake says some one liner that makes the fan boys go "O_o so cool."

Outcome: Snake wins.

Strait combat.

Now the gloves are off and we have snake and the Master chief in a strait shoot out. Now the problem hear is we basically already did this fight back in Stealth combat Scenario 1. Snake looses, hands down due to the fact that master chief can simply take alot more punishment than snake.

Final Outcome: Master Chief: 2 Snake: 1. So unless snake can sneak up on Master chief and has a handy-dandy rocket launcher ready. Hes hosed.

I actually do know who Maxell smart of the Get Smart series is. However, I don't relay know that much about him.

What I do know is this: hes a crime fighter in the traditional sense. but I don't remember if he is a spy or a cop/detective. But I think that is irrelevantly for this fight. I also know he gets the job done mostly through coinsurances and down right luck. I kind of see him as what goofy would be like if someone put him on the police force.

James bond on the other hand is a gentlemen spy for the British government. Who regularly saves the world, under its nose. He has a slew of gadgets that can look like just about anything. Looks like a cuff link but no! Its a high powered lazer made to cut though steal! Not only that but he seems to have that luck factor going for him as well.

So as most fights ware serious meets not so serious. (Like how the fight would go if you put Venom up against the power puff girls.) I think James would win for the soul fact that he takes his job seriously and doesn't play around.

However, like I said. I realy don't know that much about Maxwell Smart. For all I know he could have a rocket launcher in his shoe. but with the info I have I think that is the likely outcome.

Outcome: James Bond super spy-kills Maxwell Smart (probably)
