Battleground Mark II, Restart

((This will be progressing along much the same line as the original, only minus people randomly skipping out, hopefully. Also, if things go awry, don't worry about it, we can change this from the original, it's just there as a guide if we get stuck. And with that....let's begin. Ask me if you have any questions.))

Yami stood before her troops, examining their ever-sharp ranks with a critical eye. The soldiers were panting and sweating profusely from the drills she'd just run them through, but not a one was in anything but perfect attention. She smiled approvingly. "Dismissed!"
The soldiers filed out of the underground training room in an orderly fashion, and Yami sighed as she turned to Hysvear. "Any word from Wonka yet? Has she gathered the new recruits?" Before the draconian could answer, Yami raised her hand to cut him off. "Nevermind, the door sentry just alerted me. She's back, and with guests...let's go meet our new troops."

[Hysvear]

Hysvear opened his mouth to reply, although was cut off by a quick hand motion, and was forced to march to see the new recruits.

Sigh* new recruits... more clay with attitude that had to be molded into a perfect fighting force, but today there was a possibility that those new recruits may yield some Wing personnel, as the last few batches contained zero to none. Hysvear licked his lips* he liked potential Wing personnel, as he was allowed to be as rough as needed and rough meant many loud obscene words along with thrashings.

During this thought process, Yami continued to speak about statistics and about some failure rates. Hysvear paid little attention, because as long as he nodded his head every once in a while, Yami wouldn't notice that he wasn't really paying attention, although when she did notice...

"-And though we should be getting plenty of recruits today, I don't think you'll get any of them since you've stopped paying attention almost when I started talking." Hysvear nodded blindly and Yami rolled her eyes, took a deep breath, and whirled on him. A slight flare of shadows darkened the area around her, making her imposing despite her comparative short stature as she scowled at the General of the Wing. "Hysvear....I really don't appreciate being tuned out. I realize you generally don't care much about the specifics of what it takes to run this Army, but when I'm talking about upping the percentage of the new recruits I'll be sending to your care, I'd HOPE you'd care enough to even TRY to listen!"

((btw, anyone else who's joining, you may have been accompanying us upstairs, so feel free to post as such.))

[Hysvear]

Hysvear almost walked into the dark imposing shadow yami... and he gulped... he'd done it again. "I apologize Fuhrer Yami." Not wanting to invoke her wrath a third time. "I will try to be more vigilent when it comes to listening to my superiors." Bows and gulps again*

[Drehmos Blaze]

Yami sighed. "Thank you. Apology accepted. Now then, shall we continue?" She smiled slightly and turned to continue walking.
When they reached the main entrance to the base, they found Wonka already waiting with twelve nervous new recruits. Yami eyed them all sternly, then turned to Wonka. "Welcome back, Chancellor. How are our recruits looking this time?"

[Tobi]

A few of the new recruits looked down the stairs they had just come up from because they heard running and cursing coming from the stairwell. "God finding this place is so damn hard!" a few moments later a dark haired young girl appeared at the top and smiled at the recruits looking at her "I hope i'm not to late." as she lifted her foot to get up on the last step she tripped and fell to the ground "God damn it!"

Quickly noticing what she had done she jumped up and quietly moved towards the front of the crowd not lifting her head to look at anyone and holding her hood down to cover her face even more. When she reached the front she slowly raised her head adn saw that everyone was staring at her.

"Sorry." she said as she lowered her head back down.

Yami couldn't help a faint half smile. "You're just about on time, Sergeant...and in case I haven't previously told you, half the point of the location is for it to be hard to find." The Fuhrer turned back to Wonka. "Anyway, Wonka, did you have an answer for me?"

[Hysvear]
