IMPORTANT - 8/6/06: Recently, as many of you have noticed, it's been increasingly slow around here in the administration area. We've been running short on time and energy recently, and thus have decided (or Woovis has, rather) to close the borders COMPLETELY and indefinately. Obviously we're still accepting members- but you will submit your application, be accepted (or not), and then roleplay as if your character has BRIEFLY met with a higher ranking dog who has accepted them into the pack. Stay tuned.
General - 7/24/06: As some of you may know, two of our admins (Payton [Shayla] and Mack [Malone]) are at camp until Thursday. Thus, all will be run by Woovis [Trillian]! So border posts may be mighty slow, but be patient with us. Also, with her new dictatorial powers, Woovis has added a new forum, The Mailbox. Check it out. Lastly, post counts will no longer be upped by posting in OOC forums. Those who joined before this change get a bit of a boost, ha.

WAGS!

Introducing WAGS! the newest part of Back Alley Strays brought to you by Woovis and insane boredom. This new program takes the place of a warning system, and can be used by all accepted members, NOT just administrators. Basically, it's a way to give back to those all around you. You may have observed the sudden appearence of a Moderator Control Panel near your login- however, don't get to excited. This doesn't do anything. Go ahead and click it. You have NO POWERS. So build a Wal-Mart over it and move on. While you can't do anything with these Moderater "powers" that don't exist, it now enables you to give WAGS! to other members.
All you have to do is click the little increase button next to someones name, and BAM! You get a new page. You enter your message in that box, and click send or whatever. NO. You cannot decrease a members WAGS! only increase. Do not spam this up- WAGS! should be given as a notice of appreciation, a reward for doing something, or various other positive reasons. This is meant to encourage people. The only ones allowed to decrease your WAGS! level are admins. If you spot abuse alert on of us immediatly.
Spamming or misusing the system will result in getting in trouble. Time-out, no television, the whole she-bang. So be careful.
