Back Alley Strays
Irredeemable Passion - Shaded Lust - Season; Mid Summer - Vote for us Here
IMPORTANT - 8/6/06: Recently, as many of you have noticed, it's been increasingly slow around here in the administration area. We've been running short on time and energy recently, and thus have decided (or Woovis has, rather) to close the borders COMPLETELY and indefinately. Obviously we're still accepting members- but you will submit your application, be accepted (or not), and then roleplay as if your character has BRIEFLY met with a higher ranking dog who has accepted them into the pack. Stay tuned.

General - 7/24/06: As some of you may know, two of our admins (Payton [Shayla] and Mack [Malone]) are at camp until Thursday. Thus, all will be run by Woovis [Trillian]! So border posts may be mighty slow, but be patient with us. Also, with her new dictatorial powers, Woovis has added a new forum, The Mailbox. Check it out. Lastly, post counts will no longer be upped by posting in OOC forums. Those who joined before this change get a bit of a boost, ha.

Drifting voices floated across the cool night air as lovers whispered sweet nothings into each others ears reluctant to let go of each other . They knew very well that love was a false feeling but the rush of pride it gave them to be ’loved’ in return sent them even further down the path of disappointment. He watched as a pair leaned across the weathered railing that overlooked the sea. They were so lost but blissfully unaware of it blinded by hormones and the need to be appreciated.

Annoyed by the laughter the two let out after each lingering whisper he got up shaking his tan pelt until it was rid of the accumulated dirt. The hustle and bustle of the day showed only by the trash that floated aimlessly with the strong breeze of the sea. It was unbelievable how messy humans were. Tossing things about with no regard for their living conditions. Wega gave a sigh of annoyance, they wouldn’t learn. Almond shaded eyes wandered the closing shops along the boardwalk as lights flickered off leaving him in the dark.

Loping across the worn boards he stopped suddenly a soft rustling catching his ears. Backing up he found himself in the entrance of a dismal alley way. Something good was in there and he was about to find out. With cautious steps he entered the bleak passageway all thoughts on that single invention of man-kind that made everything in this world seem to have a purpose. Eyes rested upon the back steps of a restaurant. Whatever it was it was inside there.

Sorry Alex, couldn't resist. Hope you don't mind Wega being Ara's landing pad >.<.

IC:

The chaos that she made in the kitchen was beautiful- items flew everywhere. The only two humans that were back in the kitchen were the chef's, the waiters had already placed the orders with them and the two had gotten started. As she was being chased by two fat middle-aged men she chuckled to herself. It was rather interesting to see the two scubble at either other, when the other got in the way. A prize was placed in Arayamitz's jaws- a bronze pan with a sodden wooden hand grip. Her siliva ran down the bottom of the pan at flew off, landing on the che'fs pure white hats. The stove was up ahead, and a large pot of boiling water was on one of the sophisticated burners. Arayamitz had seen something like this stoven when she ran-sacked a house in a different city. Her legs hit the pot of water, burning her leg, and knocking the pot on to the floor. A fat scubbling man fell flat on his ass, bringing a wisk and afew un-used pans toppling over his head. The banging of pots filled the room. The other chef was postioned behind Ara, ready to grab her. Eyeing the perpared meal and the open freezer she caculaed which one would be easier to get. Her choice was the perpared meal. As she jumped to the counter where it was set, the chef swore at her and fell flat on his face. The idiot had tripped on his buddy.

Seeing that her compitition was no longer a threat she decided to eat their food in frount of them. The plate contained a expenisive cut of meat, some shirmp, mashed potatoes. On the side was a foul smelling green goo. As she dug in, the blood from the meat saturated her muzzle in watery crimson sause. After finishing her meal she'd noticed one of the chef's had regained some dignity and now held the door open for her exit. Ara laughed wolfishly and grabed her prize pan. Jumping back to the counter she was just on, she flicked the other pans out the door with her tail. The noice blasted in her ears and created people in the apartments next door to turn there lights on and start complaining. Why would you use a door when there was a perfectly good widow to jump out! Although it was abit small, Arayamitz could fit. As she sprang at the widow the chef cursed at her. Shards of glass covered her the white counter inside and the dirty alley. Arayamitz was now flying through the air....at somebody. Shit!

Slamming into the dog that stood outside made her head hurt. She'd just slammed into him head first. Her head was throbbing with pain, and then came the wall. Her spine slammed against the wall and she layed there for afew moments- gathing some thoughts. her prize pots and pans were now being cleaned up by the chef, taking only the ones that were useable. Her favorite one was slamed against a wall afew feet infrount on her face. As she got to her feet she shook herself out. "Why the hell did you get in the way of my grand escape?" As the light of the street light illuminated his face- Ara was petrified. he was a German Shepherd and a handsome one at that. Some shards of glass had inbedded themselves into her skin. Making her ear, front right leg and the bridge of her muzzle bleed. The beads of crimson dripped off her short coat and decended onto the dirty alley floor. Still Ara couldn't wrentch her gaze from the male. Her jaw opened as she tried to add something to her sentence she'd said afew moments before, but nothing came out.

OoC: not at all XD he's there if you need him for one.

IC:

The commotion within the building made him cringe. Sounded like they were killing something in there. Shrieks resounded off the back alley walls as a clatter sent his ears back against his skull. Maybe they had a live sacrifice in there. He smirked at the thought of a giant cow within the worn walls of the restaurant. Furious voices from the interior brought a confused look to his face. He didn’t know much about humans but he did know that single phrase used by all humans to label a stray like himself. And that was what they were yelling throughout the restaurant at this moment. Were they serving up dogs in there? Uncomfortable with the image of his fluffy tail on a silver platter he began to back slowly away from the door. He had no intention of becoming some sick freaks entrée tonight.

He sidestepped to the left under a small glass pane that humans sometimes opened to place hot dishes in. They were for the most part welcome sights, a place to grab a quick bite to eat, fast food if you insist. But that was not what he found in this window. The clouded glass dimmed slightly as a form blocked the rays of fake sunlight that flowed from the pane. How could humans be so intelligant and slow at the same time?

Thoughts of food for the night were wrenched from his mind just as the glass shattered throwing pieces of the unforgiving material about the asphalt. A wieght of sorts now rested upon him as more curses from chefs echoed throughout the alley. She had taken his breath away but not in the way one would have normally wanted it. Gasping for air he staggered back from the female, all the while trying to figure out what the hell had just happened. Finally able to get a decent breath in he let the fur about his spine bristle. He had no reason to trust this stray and from the shouts that the humans now let out the trust factor was not very promising.

He had not intended to be in the way but if she was accusing him of such things he would eagerly fight for justification. I wasn't in the way, and besides haven't you ever heard the saying 'Look before you leap' ? His voice was obviously that of an irritated and slightly repulsed brute. Cold eyes glared at her now in curiousity as she stared right back at him. It was quite uncomfortable now as they stood in silence each putting a front of hostility between them. A look of apathy dominated his face now, she was still watching him. What are you gawking at!? he said in a cross manner. Still ill at ease with the situation he stood his ground never droping his gaze.

The German Shepherd female heard the two chev's arguing with one another. There voice raising higher and higher as they blamed each other for her little entrence. While it did liven the place up right? Neither one of the idoits really let her in. She'd snucken in moments before the door hit it's frame.....locking in the process. She'd opened a cabnet close towards the back of the kitchen, and she'd waited for the two cooker's to make a savoring dish. When they set it out for the waiters that's when she had started the commotion. While she sat in the cabnet she'd seen the shiney pan that she now claimed hers.

As the door between the squeeling two and the two of them closed she turned to look back at Wega. His choice of words brought a laugh to her mouth. Chuckling she returned him afew words of her own. "Pipe it pup, you try jumping form that height and know who or what your going to land on. SO save it." A smirk lightened up her face- the adoration look desimated instently as he began to talk. She didn't have to nice to him. So she wouldn't. Simple as that. "Gawking?" She questioned gingerly.

The scent of her own pack was on his pelt. She stepped forward, imminating the distence inbetwee them. She sniffed his shoulder ad backed up abit. The street lamp illuminated her face, blocking out the scenery behind the German Shepherd mix that stood only afew feet ahead. "So your part of Shaded Lust, are you not? Cause if you aren't then I'll just have to kill you for having their scent on you. Now we don't want that now do we, little guy." She chuckled more.

Although he was about the same age as herself she still tried to make him feel as if he was still a pup. Her poofy tail swished back and forth behind her, acting like a upside-down pendulum. A snarl touched her lips for a moment and she laied her ears back. Lowering her body closer to the ground she looked like a pup tha that wanted to play-fight. Though Arayamitz didn't liek to play-fight....she preferred to taste the others blood. Hopefully she'd get to try his! She looked forward to it.
