Saw: wolverine Orgins

I must say it was pretty good. A studio copy is floating round here in nyc u kno how we do. There are some inconsistencies with the story and the other movies but Hard to give an exact review as I'm sure some scenes wont make it into the final cut. I'm a get into it so WARING MAJOR SPOILERS..........











Wolverine is Victor's (sabertooth) brother. They run away from home after Wolvie kills his real father in a freak accident. Together they join the military and fight through century of war. The Civil War, WWI/II, Vietnam, Cold War, right to the present day of around the early-mid 90's. That is when they join Striker on a special military operation.

Striker employs a group of the worlds finest soldiers to fight in his spec ops team. They consist of John Wraith (Will i am), Dead Pool (ryan Renolds), Blob (before his mutation - Roberto Duran), Wolverine, Sabertooth (played by the dude from machurian Candidate), and one more mutant that for the life of me I couldn't identify. They do various missions until wolverine calls it quits when they murder a african village. They all go their seperate ways Wolverine goes on to live a humble life as a lumberjack with his shorty Kyla (white queen's sister). Until Sabertooth returns to kill off all the remaining members of the Special Ops team. In the process he kills Kyla and Striker convinces wolverine to enter his weapon X project promising him he would give him the tools needed to kill Sabertooth. You no how dat goes.

Eventually u find out Striker was manipulating all the mutants, Kyla wasn't really dead it was staged to get Wolverine to return to Striker (after he originally turned down Striker when he came to visit him). Striker promised Sabertooth the adamantium shell, and promised Kyla to cure White Queen. All were being manipulated. Wolverine finds the secret facility thx to Gambit the only mutant who escaped.

Cyclops, Toad, Morph, storm, gambit and more all were test subjects of Weapon X project. Striker was experiemnting on them all. Wolverine sets them free after a battle with Sabertooth sparing his life. Stricker makes Weapon XI aka Deadpool out of wade wilson, giving him adamantium skeleton with swords that retract from his hands, and his infamous rejuvination ability. Eventually Sabertooth helps wolverine defeat wade (wolvie decaps his ass). Gambit also lends a helping hand and saves him from depair. White Queen escapes with the other test subjects thx in part to prof x linking to cyclops mentally and guiding them through the halls.

In the end striker shoots wolverine in the head with adamantium bullets erasing his memory. Kyla dies, not beforemanipulating Striker to walk away. Gambit helps wolverine up, and tries to convince him to escape with him but he recollects no one and goes his seperate way.

I personally didn't like it, da whole Wolverine bein' Sabretooth's brother was a lame and unneeded plot twist, Gambit was a bitch, Cyclops had his ass saved by Wolverine AGAIN, and Deadpool was fucked beyond belief

And words can't describe how stupid da whole "lol shoot him in the head with adamantium bullets and he like won't remember anything!!!" plot device was, it was a horrible copout, he shoulda had his memory erased back at Weapon X

best part was da Professor X cameo and da cracka who played Sabretooth, he was on point throughout da entire film

I can't see da final film bein' dat much of an improvement, I mean it's gonna be hard explainin' how Deadpool magically lost all dem powers and got stuck wit' Wolverine's healing power.

yea i agree, but didnt the comics followe an arc where viktor was Logans brother? I agree the whol adamantium bullets thing was dumb as fuck, and I hated how Xavier has no idea who logan is or his past or even cyclops yet they all had some part to do with Weapon X? Also who the fuck was the dude who manipulated light etc?

I think dey had some kinda plot where Sabretooth was supposedly Wolvie's old man, but dey did some kind of paternity test and it turned out dey weren't related comics wise

My main beef with da whole brother shit in da film was dat da guy dey casted to play Wolverine's adopted father looked more like Wolverine's actual dad den Sabretooth's dad. It just came outta left field really, you could have had dem be "brothers" as in bein' homeboys and still got da same effect

And yeah, looking back it does seem hella stupid dat Prof. X had no idea about Wolverine or Striker, he had to have some intel to figure out where Weapon XI was

The asian dude is Maverick dawg. Though he was never asian in the comics? He became real p[opular in the mid 90's when AOA he beefed with Cable and Bishop. He goes by Agent 0 now. He has absolutely no link to striker though so yeh pretty week. Never heard of chris bradley wtf?

I mean he had da staff, red eyes (only when usin' his powers), da cards, da trenchcoat, but da guy didn't really sound Cajun or suave like a pimp at all, in fact he kinda was a dumbass when talkin' to Wolverine

Wolvie tells him straight up he gonna fuck up da Weapon X place Gambit escaped from, and Gambit thinks Wolverine tryin' to take him back, startin' some unnecessary fight dat woulda been a lot cooler had dey had a reason to fight in da first place! Sadly he was just tossed in to shut people up about him not bein' in da other X flicks, and anyone coulda filled his role

At most, you'll like it slightly better den X3; da first 20-30 minutes be solid, and da opening credits wit' Wolverine and Sabretooth fightin' in da various wars be hella tight, but after dat? it gets cluttered wit' too many needless mutants who should have nothin' to do wit' Wolverine in da first place

Damn...well what about Deadpool? Was already suspect to me cause fool neva had mask...

Well, Deadpool's just a really good swordsman who talks a lot, and Stryker makes a offhand remark to him early on, sayin' Deadpool would be a lot better as a soldier if he shut da fuck up

Flash forward, Stryker turns him into a killing machine who be a "deadpool" containin' all of da powers from da mutants dey captured, he mainly uses Cyclops' power, Wraith/Will.I.am's, Wolverine's healing ability, and somethang else I think. He gots Baraka blades comin' out of his arms, and he bald wit' some tattoos or scars on his body

Also his mouth be literally zipped shut, and Stryker controls him from his desktop computer

It's just a ball stomp on da character, if anythang da final boss of da film shoulda been Sabretooth or Omega Red even

Aiight saw shit about a week ago...meh. Devil comin to visit next week I may see it wit him too but wouldnt otherwise...it was aiight. Criticisms were dead on...Gambit was a herb...and Deadpool? Dont get me started...

looooool yeh Knux pretty much cracked the shit open here yo. Gambit was a bitch and basically was a here... Gambit... happy already now shut the fuck up move. Not only was he a complete ADD moron, but he was also kinda like 50's Rockets. Dude came at wolverine wit hella energy then looked like a bunch of highschool virgins lost in a brothel: nervous, lost, overwhelmed, and completely out of his league...


And yeh Deadpool was ridiculous. not to mention ryan reynolds played him wtf I can think of ten people better than him to play him. Crank man comes to mind.

I agree the best part of the film was the first 20 min.

Lastly the rest of the characters was also a loooolz we know xman characters move looolz buy just throuwing in random characters that have no need to be even remotely linked to weapon X. Wraith? Maverick? why? blob? come on now

Don't get me started on that another Marvel killed their own character move. Marvel killed Deadpool too so it doesn't surprise me that he was some fucking Dorkton Antivirus like controllable program in the movie.


BTW they making a sequel

Yeah, they're making a Deadpool movie, too. Which considering he was the character they fucked up the most it doesn't seem like a good idea.
