If you need to send someone a message or a letter, the owls will surely get it to its destination. Ever the reliable postbirds, they have been used by witches and wizards since the dawn of time and have not yet been replaced for a reason.

Perhaps you're a naughty student who likes to send messages in class, or maybe you simply need to slip someone a note discreetly. Do so if you please, but be careful not to be caught.

The Hogwarts dungeons are a dark place, lit by torches but they're not as dangerous as they look. After all the Kitchens and the Hufflepuff Common room are located here. The Potions Classroom, Detention Hall and the Slytherin common room, can also be found in the dungeons.

Here are all the dorms both for male and female students of all houses. Remember, girls can enter the boy's dorms freely but the opposite doesn't work.

In the ground floor you can find the Great Hall and the staircase leading up to all the other floors.

On the first floor you can find the History of magic, Transfiguration and Muggle studies Classrooms

Here you can find some of the professor's offices and Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom.

On this floor you can find the Trophy room, the Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom and the Hospital wing.

Here you can find the library and the study area.

On the fifth floor you can find the Prefect's bathroom.

In the sixth floor you can find the Broom cabinet and the Ancient Runes Classroom.

Seventh floor, home of the Gryffindor Common Room and the Room of Requirement.

Here you can find, the Astronomy tower, Ravenclaw common room, Headmaster's office, the Clock tower and the Divination Classroom.

The grounds of Hogwarts are beautiful and well kept and here you can find the Black Lake, the Quidditch Pitch, Hagrid's Hut, the Green Houses and the Forbidden Forest.

Diagon Alley may be one of the favourite Wizarding spots for most people. Here you can find almost anything you will ever need. It is also the first stop for any student going to Hogwarts. Here you can find, among other shops: the Leaky Cauldron, The Apothecary, Eeylops Owl Emporium, Flourish and Blott's and Ollivander's.

Hogsmeade, a place to go to relax and enjoy yourself, either you're an adult or a student having a much needed school break, you will find a myriad of interesting places here like: The Hog's Head, Honeydukes, the Three Broomsticks, The infamous Shrieking Shack and Hogsmeade station.

Kings Cross Station may seem just like any other muggle train station, but in it, there is a hidden platform: Platform 9 3/4. It is here that all students board the very famous Hogwarts Express that will take them straight to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The whereabouts of the order headquarters are unknown to everyone but its members. It is here that brave wizards and witches prepare to battle death eaters and Voldemort himself.

Everyone needs a place to live, be it rich or poor, small or large.

St. Mungo's is the place to go when you have an injury or malady that cannot be treated at home with healing spells. If you've been cursed or anything of the sort, the nurses and healers here will do their best to cure you.

Where all the laws and regulations of the wizarding world are discussed and approved. Workplace of many witches and wizards, it is a very large place with many floors and departments, completely hidden from the view of muggles. To get here you can either use the floo network, the visitor's entrance (a phone booth in the muggle world), or the toilets.
